When the summer came, Wabasha county fishermen were almost ready to use their fishing rods when the serious trouble appeared in their small town. Trouble's name was Maria and she was going to turn the local shop where they used to buy rods and baits into a fashionable restaurant. Max Goldman (Walter Matthau) finds Maria very attractive (Sophia Loren herself!), but he and his friend John Gustavson (Jack Lemmon) stand against her and her business weaving the different plots to stop her. Jumanji is a board game, magic and dangerous, as two teenagers found it out and buried Jumanji in distant 1869. Now the young descendant of the same family Alan Parrish (Adam Hann-Byrd, Robin Williams) digs the game out and begins to play it along with his mate Sarah (Laura Bell Bundy, Bonnie Hunt). Then the game makes it clear that it is really perilous as the boy flies away into the distant jungle. Later, other members of the family begin expirience the shock of using the game, they should try to return Alan Parrish from the magic depths of the game keeping in mind that all the monstrous entities which are bred by it will disappear in the only certain case: if the game will be won.

In a mountainous South American country, drug-dealing rebels kidnap Peter Bowman, a US engineer who works for an oil company's subsidiary. Bowman's wife Alice begs him to stay. A grizzly bear named Boog, domesticated by a park ranger, Beth, helps deer friend Elliot escape from the mullet-sporting hunter, Shaw. When the Elliot decides to return the favor to help Boog escape from Beth he finds that Boog is very happy with his domesticated home. After a misunderstanding, Beth is convinced that Boog is reverting to his wild nature and releases him in the woods just as hunting season begins. Boog has no idea how to survive outside of his garage home with his beloved Beth. Elliott and Boog develop a strong bond not only between themselves but also with the wild animals and attempt to drive the hunters out of the forest. |

Of course, the lead actor end up on the ship as well. Also, a madman (Tony Shalhoub) plots the destruction of the ship and Steve Buscemi is a depressed, suicidal lounge singer named Happy Frank. |
