On Christmas eve, all of the citizens of the small town of Bedford Falls pray to the heavens to help George Bailey. It's then decided that Clarence, an angel who hasn't earned his wings, is to help George. Before he does, he should know who George Bailey was. George Bailey grew up in Bedford Falls, a small town where he dreams of leaving it and making his mark on the world. His family's business is the only thing stands between the good citizens and Mr. Potter, a rich miser who takes sick pleasure in taking from everybody, without even caring how it affects them. George was all set to leave when his father died and had to take care of the business. George would forever be hindered by his plans to leave and thinks that he is nothing but a failure, he decides to kill himself. That's when Clarence comes in and tries to convince him that he has made something with his life, and that he had a "Wonderful Life".
Considered by many to be the best film ever made, this is the story of Charles Foster Kane. The film opens with a long shot of Xanadu - the private estate of one of the world's richest men. In the middle of the estate is a castle. We see, inside the castle, a dying man examining a winter scene within a crystal ball. As he drops it, it smashes, and one word is heard - "Rosebud..." What follows are pieces of newsreel-like footage detailing how Kane amassed his fortune, and turning around full circle at the end.
Once upon a time, in a far away kingdom, there lived a big green ogre named Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers). He led a solitary life in his own smelly swamp in the woods. One day the evil midget - Lord Farquaad (voiced by John Lithgow), the ruler of Duloc – banished all the familiar fairy tale characters to Shrek's swamp land. Unfortunately for the ogre, his peaceful life has an end. To get rid of annoying settlers, Shrek must rescue the beautiful Princess Fiona (voiced by Cameron Diaz), confined to the tower and guarded by a fire-spouting dragon, and convince her to be Farquaad's wife. Accompanied by the garrulous and wisecracking Donkey (voiced by Eddie Murphy), Shrek makes his way to the distant castle and, on his quest, gets involved in a set of bizarre situations.
The animated family movie tells the delightful story of what happens when toys are left alone in a room. Andy Davis (John Morris) is a wide-eyed little boy who likes playing with his toys, especially with Woody (Tom Hanks), an old-fashioned pull-string cowboy doll. Woody finds his status as Andy's favorite in jeopardy when the boy gets a space ranger named Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) for his birthday. Woody becomes so jealous that he schemes to get rid of his rival. Things, however, backfire. When the spaceman accidentally falls out of the window, the other toys blame Woody for the accident. Racked with remorse, Woody ventures into the outside world to find Buzz. Then the two toys find themselves in the clutches of Sid Phillips (Erik von Detten), a nasty neighborhood kid who takes a sadistic delight in dismembering and reconstructing his toys into gruesome mutants. Woody and Buzz must join forces to escape from the ruthless Sid and his savage dog, Scud, and find their way home before Andy moves to a new house.
In this hilarious fantasy movie, Andy (John Morris) goes off to summer camp, leaving his toy friends to their own devices. When Andy's mother (Laurie Metcalf) decides to take some old items for a yard sale, Woody the Cowboy (Tom Hanks) sets off to rescue the toy penguin Wheezy (Joe Ranft). Al McWiggin (Wayne Knight), a toy store owner and collector, notices the cowboy doll and offers $50 for him but Andy's mom refuses, knowing that Woody is a highly valued collectible. Determined to get Woody for his collection, the malicious man steals the toy. At Al's apartment Woody meets other collectible toys, Stinky Pete the Prospector (Kelsey Grammer), a horse named Bullseye and Jessie, the Yodeling Cowgirl (Joan Cusack), and discovers that the greedy toy collector is about to sell them to a Japanese toy museum. Meanwhile, Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Mr. Potato Head (voice of Don Rickles), Rex (voice of Wallace Shawn), Slinky Dog (voice of Jim Varney), and Hamm (voice of John Ratzenberger) spring into an action to find their fellow toy before Andy returns home from the camp.
While visiting the Earth at Night, a group of alien botanists is discovered and disturbed by an approaching human task force. Because of the more than hasty take-off, one of the visitors is left behind. The little alien finds himself all alone on a very strange planet. Fortunately, the extra-terrestrial soon finds a friend and emotional companion in 10-year-old Elliot, who discovered him looking for food in his family's garden shed. While E.T. slowly gets acquainted with Elliot's brother Michael, his sister Gertie as well as with Earth customs, members of the task force work day and night to track down the whereabouts of Earth's first visitor from Outer Space. The wish to go home again is strong in E.T., and after being able to communicate with Elliot and the others, E.T. starts building an improvised device to send a message home for his folks to come and pick him up. But before long, E.T. gets seriously sick, and because of his special connection to Elliot, the young boy suffers, too. The situation gets critical when the task force finally intervenes. By then, all help may already be too late, and there's no alien spaceship in sight.

At this point, Wonka starts to ignore Charlie, and then tells him why: because Charlie and Grandpa Joe, played by 'Jack Albertson' (qv), drank some forbidden product without permission. Will Charlie turn against Wonka? Or will he discover that he was wrong and make up what he has done?
Inventor Gepetto creates a wooden marionette called Pinocchio. His wish that Pinocchio be a real boy is unexpectedly granted by a fairy. The fairy assigns Jiminy Cricket to act as Pinocchio's "conscience" and keep him out of trouble. Jiminy is not too successful in this endeavor and most of the film is spent with Pinocchio deep in trouble.
An elderly Jewish widow living in Atlanta can no longer drive. Her son insists she allow him to hire a driver, which in the 1950s meant a black man. She resists any change in her life but, Hoke, the driver is hired by her son. She refuses to allow him to drive her anywhere at first, but Hoke slowly wins her over with his native good graces. The movie is directly taken from a stage play and does show it. It covers over twenty years of the pair's life together as they slowly build a relationship that transcends their differences.
Scotty Smalls (Tom Guiry) tries to make friends with his neighbors in a new town where he has moved with his family. Luckily, the local baseball players need a player to make a team. Then one of the players breaks a ball and it's a bad sign that may bring down the team's fortune. Scotty steals his stepfather's ball to solve the problem and the whole team gets involved into the adventures.
A fieldmouse named Mrs. Brisby must move her family to a safe location before the farmer plows the field where they live, but her invalid son Timmy cannot go outside due to his pneumonia. She enlists the aid of some highly intelligent, escaped lab rats that have built a subterranean society inside a rose bush near the farmer's garden. The rats, led by the wise Nicodemus, decide to help her physically move her house to repay a debt of gratitude to her late husband, who made possible the rats' escape from the laboratory. But things become complicated when some of the rats decide to use the situation to kill Nicodemus and make it appear to be accidental.

When the father dies, Cinderella's wicked stepmother turns her into a virtual servant in her own house. So the King invites every eligible maiden in the kingdom to a fancy dress ball, where his son will be able to choose his bride. Cinderella has no suitable party dress for a ball, but her friends the mice, lead by Jaques and Gus, and the birds lend a hand in making her one, a dress the evil stepsisters immediately tear apart on the evening of the ball. At this point, enter the Fairy Godmother, the pumpkin carriage, the royal ball, the stroke of midnight, the glass slipper, and the rest, as they say, is fairy tale history.
Chased by school bullies, reprimanded by his father for daydreaming too much Bastian is lost in his own world. Bastian escapes school bullies one rainy day by hiding in an old used book store. After explaining his predicament to the old clerk Bastian notices a large leather bound book with a symbol of two snakes intertwined into an emblem. Soon after the clerk warns Bastian that this book is not for him Bastian, rushes away with it "borrowing" it, while the clerk is in another room. Taking refuge in the attic of his school Bastian opens the book, and a world of fantasy. Learning that the wonderous, beautiful land of Fantasia is being destroyed by a terrible "Nothing" Bastian is taken deeper into the story. Soon discovering the ChildLike Empress is deathly ill, the cause; she needs a new name. A young warrior named Atreyu is called and Bastian follows his adventures, unknowing that he, himself is slowly being written into the mysterious book. Soon realizing that he is now written in the book Bastian realizes that the only one who can save Fantasia is him.

He believed that this was his family, but on an expedition Jane Porter is rescued by Tarzan. He then finds out that he's human. To save his skin, Bugs entertains Sam's spoiled, capricious son, Prince Abba-Dabba (Lennie Weinrib), with amazing stories about Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester, Tweety, Big Bad Wolf and other colourful characters.

Once upon a time, in the magical land of Whoville, there lived a little man named the Grinch (Jim Carrey). Crumpit where he lived for 30 years. He hated the Who's and Christmas with an equal hatred. Each Christmas with its festivities, decorations, presents and carols was sheer torture to the green hermit. One day the spiteful mountain dweller decided to deprive the Who's of Christmas once and for all. As soon as the carefree Who's went to sleep on Christmas Eve, the treacherous Grinch slunk into the town in order to steal everything associated with their favourite holiday.

So when she stumbles across a deer with an injured leg in the heart of the forest, she is dead sure that it is Prancer, one of Santa Claus' "eight flying tiny reindeer." The compassionate little girl feels it her duty to help the wounded animal, therefore she keeps the deer in her barn in secret and nurses it back to health, aided by her troublesome older brother Steve (John Joseph Duda) and sympathetic doctor Orel Benton (Abe Vigoda). Jessica is intent on returning Prancer to Santa (Michael Constantine) when it gets well, but unfortunately her father John (Sam Elliot) finds the suffering animal and comes up with an idea of selling it to the butcher...
Elmo the fuzzy little red monster wakes up one morning to stick together with his favorite fuzzy blue blanket. Elmo learns a lesson when he refuses to share his blanket with his best friend, Zoe, then loses it in Oscar's can, where it goes all the way to Grouchland. And now for the first time ever Elmo musters all of his determination and courage and heads off on an action-packed rescue mission that plunges him into Grouch land-a place full of grouchy creatures, stinky garbage and the villainous man alive named Huxley. He asked a kind girl named Grizzy to help Elmo get back his blanket. Grizzy decided she wanted to stop helping because Huxley's house is on the top of Mount Pickanose which is far, far away. Elmo is now on his own. All the people from Sesame Street come to Grouchland to get Elmo back.
