This dark, but nonetheless sparkling comedy follows a vivid family which inhabits the dull, strange house. All horrors here are stylized and are not terrible at all - quite the contrary, all these vampires and other evil spirits who, in fact, respectively are the Addams family, can win your sympathies instead of expected fear. |

Her close connections with Austria and support for a foreign intervention were so apparent that she was stripped of her riches, imprisoned and sentenced to death. Bob Russel, his wife Cindy Russel, and their three kids, 8-year-old Miles, 6-year old Maizy, and 15-year-old Tia, recently moved from Indianapolis to Chicago, and Tia resents Bob and Cindy for it because Tia, Miles, and Maizy were perfectly happy living in Indianapolis. Bob and Cindy are in bed one night when Cindy's aunt calls and tells them that Cindy's father has had a heart attack. Bob and Cindy immediately make plans to go to Indianapolis to visit Cindy's father. After hearing this, Tia angrily tells Cindy that Tia would have a heart attack too if her family moved away from her, then Tia slams her bedroom door in Cindy's face. With Cindy and Bob going to Indianapolis, the problem is who the babysitter will be. Even though Cindy doesn't like the idea, they choose Bob's brother Buck to babysit Tia, Miles, and Maizy. Cindy doesn't like Buck because she thinks Buck is a sloppy person who doesn't know how to do anything. While Cindy and Bob are in Indianapolis, Buck takes over the house, and Buck tries to do the best he can with the kids while he's having problems with Chanice Kobolowski, who has been his girlfriend for the past 8 years. Buck bonds with Miles and Maizy and wins their love, but Buck has problems with Tia as he tries to protect Tia from her boyfriend Bug, because unknown to Tia, Bug only wants Tia for one reason sex. |

When Agent 009 turns up dead at the British Embassy in Berlin holding a Russian Faberge egg, 007 is called in to investigate. Bond's investigation of Khan leads him to India, where he meets a mysterious woman named 'Octopussy' who is connected to Khan. The bomb is smuggled aboard a circus train, and one of the men helping Kamal & Orlov is the man responsible for killing 009! Bond must race against time to stop the bomb from exploding & killing thousands, then running down Kamal Khan before he escapes! |

Sylvia Broome (Nicole Kidman) is an interpreter. She is an expert in the obscure language of Ku, a dialect of the African Matobo, her homeland. Unintentionally she overhears a talk on Ku, where the deadly plot against the country ruler was mentioned. The life of Zuwanie (Earl Cameron), Matobo's controversial ruler, is under the treat, so as Sylvia's life. Realizing she's become a target of the assassins as well, Silvia is desperate to thwart the plot... if only she can survive long enough to get someone to believe her. Secret Service agent Tobin Keller (Sean Penn) is brought in to investigate Broome's story, and it isn't long before he's convinced that she knows more than she's willing to tell. Keller has his doubts. Is Silvia a witness or is she somehow connected to the threat against the African head of state? "The Interpreter" is a cat and mouse game with a few of the involved parties appearing to change sides throughout the process. Sometimes you should pay close attention in order to keep up with the plot (you can miss a key detail being away for a tea watching this film). |
