Lester Burnham (Kevin Spacey), a father and a husband, suddenly finds out that he does not want to live his quiet and correct life any longer. He finds himself falling deeper and deeper into the hopeless depression, struggling against a mid-life crisis that affects his relations with the family. Burnham's rebelling daughter Jane (Thora Birch) hates him. His bitchy wife (Annette Bening) can't bear his new manner of living at his own taste. Eventually, he becomes to be obsessed by a viciously innocent and cute school-mate (Mena Suvari) of his daughter. Meanwhile, Jane meets a strange boy next door, whose warlike military father is obsessed by homophobic spirits. The movie is really touching, dramatic and poetically aesthetic, focusing attention at the social life disharmony and the delicate beauty surrounding us.

The story follows the life of low I.Q. Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) and his meeting with the love of his life Jenny. Forrest becomes representative of the baby boomer generation having walked through life blindly.

When Edgecomb and his fellow guards, Howell (David Morse) and Stanton (Barry Pepper), discover that Coffrey hasn't committed the crimes for which he is sentenced to death, they are forced to make a difficult choice...

As expected, the diamond goes missing. When bad news reaches Avi's ears, he blows off and rushes with a legendary hit man, 'Bullet Tooth' Tony (Vinnie Jones), to London to find Franky and the missing stone. Moreover, the priceless gem is hunted by cunning Mickey O'Neil (Brad Pitt), morose Brick Top (Alan Ford) and many other miscreants, each of whom strives to hit the jackpot.

Wanda (Jamie Lee Curtis) brings her new secret lover, Otto (Kevin Kline) to England to help her and her lover George and stuttering animal lover Ken (Michael Palin) steal $20 million in diamonds. Wanda and Otto then turn in George to the police so they can have the loot for themselves, but George has already moved the diamonds and only he knows where they are. All four of the criminals start double-crossing each other to try to get to the diamonds before anyone else. Wanda tries to find them by "getting close" to George's barrister, Archie Leach (John Cleese), because if George pleads guilty he will tell Archie where the diamonds are to cut his sentence. Absolute hilarity ensues.
Calogero Anello is a 9-year old child living in the Bronx - notorious for gangster bars, racist people and aggressive nature. Calogero witnesses a shooting in the street involving local big shot gangster, Sonny (Chazz Palimentri), but refuses to grass him to the police. Sonny grows fond of the child and begins to teach him how things are conducted on streets. Calogero's father (Robert DeNiro) is a working man who wants his child to grow up and make his money honestly, and does not want him to mix with Sonny. Despite his father's disapproval, for eight years he continues to see Sonny, and receives a 'street' education from him. Despite being a gangster, Sonny loves Calogero and teaches him that being a gangster is too risky and dangerous. However Calogero misinterprets Sonny's message, and still gets involved with racist fights with his friends. Things get worse when he falls in love with a black girl. This story of the Bronx, as a child grows up with two educations, one from school and one from the street. As the child grows closer to a gangster, he begins to grow away from his family.

The ballistic missile submarine USS Montana sinks under mysterious circumstances. The doomed boat settles on a ledge several hundred feet deep and on the edge of an even deeper ocean abyss. US Navy SEALS are brought in to salvage the sub's missiles and an experimental civilian deep water oil-drilling rig is commandeered to help. All goes well until the SEAL leader suffers from high pressure madness and the rig is visited by the "Non-Terrestrial Intelligence" that apparently lives in the abyss. The ensuing struggle results in a race against time to prevent World War III and a reunion between the estranged couple that designed and operate the oil rig.
After a frightening escape from death at the hands of Chinese gangster Lao Che in Shanghai, Indiana Jones & 2 companions, Short Round (Quan) and Willie Scott (Capshaw) board a freight plane to escape. Over the Himalayas, the pilots dump the fuel, and Indy discovers they are in serious trouble when the plane's engines start to stall. Parachuting out of the plane in a life raft, they survive a 300-foot fall into a raging mountain river and its rapids. They are now in India, and as their raft heads down river they are met by an Indian shaman, who leads them to his village where people are starving, crops are blighted, and there is not a single child! Indy's mastery of their language helps him learn that a sacred stone was taken by some strange men, which caused all the problems facing the villagers now. Short Round & Indy figure out that the missing stone is one of the Sankara stones, which are supposed to have a magical effect on whomever possesses them. The shaman sends them on a mission to Pankot Palace, which once housed the Thuggee cult. After a series of near-death encounters, Indy & the others discover the Temple of Doom, where the human sacrifices to Kali - the Thuggee goddess of death - are carried out, as well as a mine that has enslaved the children of the Shaman's village. Indy must get the stone back and free the children from the Thuggees and their psychopathic high priest, Mola Ram (Puri). What follows are several spectacular fights, a frightening chase through a mine shaft in tiny mine cars, and a bridge collapse 100 feet above a river filled with crocodiles! Hang on - and enjoy!

But Ripley's deep-seated dissatisfaction with his own background, life of poverty and his being a real nobody began gnawing at him and his growing desire to maintain the new wealthy lifestyle was an overpoise to his judgement. So Ripley came up with a perfidious, cruel plan to kill Greenleaf and assume his identity.
