Set in Europe during WWII, a group of American soldiers are in the process of being shipped off to military prison for a variety of infractions, ranging from desertion to murder. While they're being transported, a German artillery attack hits the convoy, killing the MPs and enabling four of the prisoners to escape. The group decides their best bet is to head to neutral Switzerland where they can avoid the fighting and prison. As they make their way to what they think will be freedom, they end up volunteering for a commando mission to steal a V2 warhead for the French Underground. Somehow, the team must sneak into the most heavily guarded base in German territory, steal the Nazi's most precious military hardware, and bring it back to the allies without getting arrested again by their own side. |

In the year 2274, after the world has been decimated by a holocaust, a new society is built and resides in a domed city. However, it is forbidden for humans to live beyond 30 and you are given two choices, either to go through a ritual called Carousel with the promise of being "renewed", or go on the run and risk being hunted down by an elite police force known as Sandmen. Logan 5 is just such a man, and when he and his partner Francis 7 find and kill a runner, Logan takes an ankh symbol which identifies a person as a runner. When the computers of the city find out that Logan is in possession of the amulet, they order him to go undercover and find Sanctuary, the place where all the runners go to live out the rest of their lives. To ensure this, the computer adds four years to the time crystal on his palm to make it appear that he is on the verge of turning 30. Logan then meets up with Jessica 6, a member of the underground group that helps runners escape to Sanctuary. Logan then begins to run, but in the process realizes that there is much to live for and that he is just entering the prime of his life. |

A European police detective living in Cairo undergoes hypnosis therapy to deal with headaches caused by his last case. He recounts spending two months in a dystopian Europe investigating the serial killings of young girls who sell lottery tickets. While the current police force there employ clumsy methods, he continues to use the controversial theoretical methods of his now disgraced former mentor. He becomes obsessed with a suspect from previous similar killings, and using an old surveillance report retraces the steps of that suspect. As the journey progresses, the differences between the cop and the serial killer become blurred. |

Later that day, an official from the town where they got married calls to see David. The director presents the viewer with the characters, depicting youth's fears, complexes, and lack of self-confidence. The link between them is that they hate having to work. They are all obsessed with sex and find an outlet in drugs, drinking, clubbing, and dancing to wild music. The only way to escape from the humdrum of their daily lives, their dead-end jobs, and the establishment is to try to relax during the weekend turned into an explosive mixture of house music, sex, ecstasy and marijuana. |
