Master chef Kate Armstrong (Catherine Zeta-Jones) is so addicted to her work that her whole life revolves around pans and pots. But her existence is drastically changed when she becomes the sole caregiver for her ten-year-old grief-stricken niece Zoe (Abigail Breslin) after the death of her sister in a car accident. As is known, misfortunes never come alone. Kate also must contend with a self-assured, free-wheeling sous-chef named Nick Palmer (Aaron Eckhart) who is hired without her prior approval and whom she perceives as a serious rival. As their rivalry grows into a romance, Kate has to learn to express herself outside the sanctuary of her kitchen.

It is a distant galaxy eons before the creation of Earth. Societies have evolved among millions of worlds united in a Republic whose capital world is the supercity of Coruscant. Serving as the guardians of order from Coruscant are the Jedi, an order of warriors endowed with super power via self-generated energy fields known as The Force, whose weapons of choice are lightsabers. Within the Galactic Republic exists a collection of imperial-minded worlds united in the euphemistically named Trade Federation, which is engaged in a dispute with the peaceful world of Naboo. Two Jedi, Qui-Gon Jinn and young apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi, are sent by Coruscant to Naboo to mediate the Trade Federation's dispute, but when they arrive aboard a Trade Federation base star, they quickly find the trade dispute is merely cover for armed invasion of Naboo. Despite an attempt on their lives, Qui-Gon and Kenobi escape to Naboo, where with the help of a well-meaning but hopelessly inept alien native (one of several races existing on the multicultural planet) they find and rescue the planet's ruling elected Queen, Amidala, a ruler of a political system fusing monarchy with democratic republicanism. They run the Trade Federation's blockade but their starship is damaged and must land on the desert world of Tatooine, where in seeking out parts to repair their ship they encounter a young slave boy, Annikan Skywalker, whom Qui-Gon learns possesses the perfect metaphysical structure for becoming a Jedi. However, all are being pursued by an evil Jedi, Darth Maul, who serves a Jedi lord who seeks to overthrow the Jedi order, leading to a brief saber encounter between Qui-Gon and Darth Maul as the Queen's starship is repaired. Qui-Gon, Kenobi, Annikan, and Amidala (who becomes close to the boy despite the nearly fifteen year age difference between the two) escape and return to Coruscant, but mindless debate with the Republic's senate forces them to strike out on their own back to Naboo, to try and find allies who will help them liberate the planet - and defeat Darth Maul.
One thousand years from now, aliens destroy Earth in fear of the Titan project. Some humans escape, becoming a downtrodden Diaspora, living in impoverished settlements. Cale refuses, but the arrival of the killer aliens persuades him to join Korso. Can he avoid his pursuers, know friend from foe, find the Titan, and embrace his humanity, a nature he has despised until now?
Long before humans appeared on the planet, dinosaurs ruled the earth. On a little off-coast island, a clan of lemurs finds a dinosaur egg, hatching. Since there are no parents, the lemurs take care of the newborn, Aladar. Years later, a medium meteor goes down close to the island and the shockwave forces its inhabitants to flee to the continent. There, Aladar and his family meet other dinosaurs for the first time as well as real dangers. The destruction caused by the meteor here has also forced a herd of different herbivores to move to a remote valley that can provide food and protection against the carnivorous predators following after. Since Aladar grew up with a different understanding of the ways of the world, his way of helping others first isn't accepted within the herd, but soon it is proven that reason may be better than panic.

Being together with Frank Navasky, a well-known journalist, she betrays him by e-mailing secretly and anonymously with a (also betraying) man whom she met in a chat room. Suddenly, her business gets endangered by the opening of Fox Books discount store just "around the corner". She meets Joe Fox, son of the owner, and soon gets annoyed by his arrogant way of managing business matters. Although getting advice by her anonymous mail-pal, she has to close down her store. But Joe Fox's life suddenly gets out of control when he learns that his anonymous mail-pal is nobody other than Kathleen Kelly.
Lucas is a ten-year kid whose family has just moved to a new town, and he is having troubles with the local bullies. Tired from it, the boy looks for someone he can push around - and he soon finds a way to take out his frustration on the ants living in his lawn. Tired of weathering constant attacks on their colony, ants shrink Lucas to their size and sentence him to live among them until he learns the errors of his ways through some labour-therapy. Lucas realizes how a world he never knew existed lives and soon joins forces with his new friends to struggle against an exterminator (Paul Giamatti) who threatens their colony. This computer-animated comedy-adventure is post-scored with the voices of Julia Roberts, Regina King, Alan Cumming and the other actors.

A grizzly bear named Boog, domesticated by a park ranger, Beth, helps deer friend Elliot escape from the mullet-sporting hunter, Shaw. When the Elliot decides to return the favor to help Boog escape from Beth he finds that Boog is very happy with his domesticated home. After a misunderstanding, Beth is convinced that Boog is reverting to his wild nature and releases him in the woods just as hunting season begins. Boog has no idea how to survive outside of his garage home with his beloved Beth. Elliott and Boog develop a strong bond not only between themselves but also with the wild animals and attempt to drive the hunters out of the forest.

One fine day they adopted Stuart (voiced by Michael J. Fox), a charming little mouse that can talk, walk upright and wear clothes. The family cat, Snowbell (voiced by Nathan Lane), who took an instant dislike to Stuart, gave him a cool welcome: he made an attempt to eat him, and then he set all the cats in the neighborhood on the mouse. After all, Stuart was kidnapped by small-time bandits. In order to return home, the new member of the Little family had to show his remarkable pluck and wits.

During FBI operation Agent Eleven (Bob), a drug-sniffing dog, happens to bite off a major mobster's manhood. The gangster cuts up quite savage and orders two hit men to murder the dog. To secure the canine agent, the FBI places him in the witness protection program. The dog changes both his owners and his name. Now he is adopted by a postal worker, Gordon Smith (David Arquette), who is not exactly a dog lover. One fine day when Gordon's beautiful neighbor, Stephanie (Leslie Bibb), asks him to baby-sit her son, it is a challenge for Gordon to handle the pet. The super dog makes friends with James (Angus T. Jones), trees the mailman, evades the mobsters' pursuit and gets sympathy of all kids in the neighborhood. "Spot" is full of energy while waiting for his enemies to track down him again. It remains to be seen who will lead a dog's life!
