You never know what might happen in the future. Successful architect Jonathan Rivers (Michael Keaton) had a good and happy marriage with a best-selling writer, Anna (Chandra West), and a young kid, Mike (Nicholas Elia). Little did he expect that his peaceful life would be shattered some day. After his pregnant wife went missing and was later found dead, Jonathan got in touch with a paranormal expert, Raymond Price (Ian McNeice), who claimed to be communicating with Anna via Electronic Voice Phenomenon. Raymond also informed him that voices and faces of the dead could be heard and seen on a detuned radio and TV. Tormented by grief, Jonathan decided to try to come in contact with the spirit realm. |

Coconut Beach Resort, a hedonistic paradise for swingers and rastamen, located in Costa Rica, turns into an abode of evil when it is visited by a machete-wielding serial killer. Coconut Pete (Bill Paxton), the owner of the island resort, orders the staff members to figure out the maniac's identity and stop him. However, the number of deaths keeps steadily increasing and the employees desperately try to cover up the murders in order not to lose the guests. |

The film is a horror comedy about some clown-like extraterrestrials with certain sadistic intentions who arrive in a small town to capture and kill the innocent townsfolks. Amazingly enough, no one takes them seriously quite for a long time, except for a couple of clever kids - Mike Tobacco (Grant Cramer) and Debbie Stone (Suzanne Snyder) - who refuse to trust this cruel army of circus monsters, so they get an ice cream truck and try to save their native town. The guys first of all rush to the police of course and of course their warnings are taken scornfully by Sgt. Mooney and another police officer, Dave Hanson (John Allen Nelson), who by the by happens to be Debbie's ex-boyfriend. |

After having served a 6-year sentence for car theft, Rudy Duncan (Ben Affleck) is about to go at large. His cellmate and best buddy Nick Cassidy (James Frain) is to be released from prison the same day but he is suddenly killed during a prison mutiny with only three days left to serve. Rudy makes up his mind to assume his dead cellmate's identity to start a relationship with his gorgeous pen pal, Ashley Mercer (Charlize Theron). Rudy, however, is unaware that Ashley's brother Gabriel (Gary Sinise) and his gang of thugs plot to rob a gambling casino in Michigan where Nick used to work, thus, Ashley is just tempting bait for Nick to be trapped into an armed heist on Christmas Eve. US Marshal Pete Nessip and his brother Terry, also a US Marshal are assigned to escort convicted computer hacker Earl Leedy to a top-security prison. Beliving Leedy is dead, Pete is held responsible for the incident and is suspended. Pete sets out to track down the terrorists, and turns to help from professional skydiver Jesse Crossman (Whose ex-husband Jagger is one of the terrorists working with Ty), where Jesse and her team are taking part in a Independence Day skydiving show in Washington D.C, where airspace security is at minimum. Where Ty plans to use Leedy to hack into the DEA mainframe computer to expose the identities of undercover DEA agents to international drug rings. When Jagger is killed by Ty and Selkirk, one of Jesse's team members is injured, Pete and Jesse team up to stop Ty and his associates, and both Pete and Jesse can get their revenge. |

For the past four years, San Francisco cop Jack Cates has been after an unidentified drug kingpin who calls himself the "Ice Man". At the Hunter's Point Raceway, Jack confronts Tyrone Burroughs and Arthur Brock. Jack kills Brock in self defense, but Burroughs escapes, and Jack is in danger of going to prison because Brock's gun can't be found. Jack finds a picture that proves that the Ice Man has put a price on the head of Reggie Hammond, who is scheduled to be released from prison on the next day. Jack tries to convince Reggie to help him clear his name and find the Ice Man, but Reggie says he won't help unless Jack gives Reggie the $500,000 that Jack has been holding on to for Reggie. Jack refuses to give Reggie the money unless Reggie helps him. After the bus that is transporting Reggie away from the prison is forced to crash by two bikers and Jack gets shot by the same two bikers, Jack forces Reggie to help him by having the hospital release Reggie into his custody. Reggie recognized one of the bikers as Richard "Cherry" Ganz, the brother of Albert Ganz, the escaped convict Jack killed years ago. Jack got shot because Cherry wants revenge for Albert's death, and Cherry and his partner Willie Hickok are the hitmen who have been hired to kill Reggie. Burroughs, who works for the Ice Man, was trying to hire Brock as insurance, just in case Cherry and Hickok fail. Blake Wilson, the head of the Internal Affairs division, obviously doesn't like Jack, because Wilson will stop at nothing to prosecute Jack for manslaughter in Brock's death, and it turns out that the Ice Man put a price on Reggie's head because Reggie knows who the Ice Man is someone Jack never expected it to be. |
