The movie recalls an inspiring story of juvey detention camp officer Sean Porter (Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson) and his fellow colleague Malcolm Moore (Xzibit) who came up with an idea of forming a high-school-level football team from a ragtag group of hoodlums. They saw football and team spirit as a positive way for the felons to overcome their fears and frustrations, gain self-esteem and learn social responsibility.
