For New York's most powerful and toughest gangster Paul Vitti (Robert De Niro) killing a man is like having a cup of tea. But the relentless mobster has been having panic attacks recently. He can't sleep at night, feels nervous fairly often and even sheds a tear; every kid evokes tender emotions in him; and killing people is out of the question. He obviously has stress symptoms.
It's so fortunate for him that one day Dr. Ben Sobel's car collides with his car. Realizing he needs professional help, Paul wants the psychiatrist (Billy Crystal) to restore his psychological balance and his lost vitality within two weeks, before a major mobster meeting. Ben surely isn't very enthusiastic about helping him as he himself turns to be a spineless and uncertain man. Who would like to have a mob boss patient who is used to solving problems with a gun and has been tailed by all FBI agents for years? |

Realizing she's become a target of the assassins as well, Silvia is desperate to thwart the plot... if only she can survive long enough to get someone to believe her. Secret Service agent Tobin Keller (Sean Penn) is brought in to investigate Broome's story, and it isn't long before he's convinced that she knows more than she's willing to tell. Keller has his doubts. Is Silvia a witness or is she somehow connected to the threat against the African head of state? Bond's new foe is Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce), just another super-villain craving for the domination over the world; he is to be defeated by the valiant Agent 007. Carver is a powerful media-tycoon who never has to search for the news because he always used to make them. Pierce Brosnan incarnates the Superspy again after his successful debut as Bond in "007: The Golden Eye"; the movie "Tomorrow never dies" keeps the tradition of involving the most intricate spy gadjets and contemporary defense technologies along with the most beautiful actresses participation (in this series, action star Michelle Yeoh, who has the "Miss Malaysia" title). Bond is to prevent the Third World War which looms closer and closer as Carver weaves his devilish plot to embroil the world's superpowers with each other using PR technologies and crimninal talents of his ally called Mr. Stamper (Gotz Otto).
The soundtrack of "Tomorrow Never Dies" is the song of the same name, brilliantly performed by Sheryl Crow, who also is an author of this heartfelt hit.
