The story of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and the others didn't end with the destruction of the Death Star - it continues in THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. Imperial forces have since driven the Rebels to hide on the ice world Hoth. The Mayor (Steve Carell) and the residents of Whoville ask Horton to protect them and their home from the dangers of the outside world. Despite being mocked and tormented by his jungle pals, who consider him to be crazy, the compassionate elephant feels it his duty to take measures for the defence of the tiny community.
