This parody is a sequel to the "Hot Shots" comedy starring Charlie Sheen. In this hilarious movie his superhero heads to the Near East to fight Saddam, to imitate Rambo and to make you laugh as loud as possible. Many films are ridiculed in this comedy flick, from Starwars to Rambo and Apocalypse Now. The hero, Topper Harley, is to leave the Buddhist temple (where he found the inner Harmony being isolated from the world and from women) to save the hostages in Iraq. |

Based on Mary Shelly's novel, the hair-raising movie tells the sad story of Victor Frankenstein (Kenneth Brannagh), a promising young scientist. The doctor was so devastated by his mother's death during childbirth that he became obsessed with the idea of bringing the deceased back to life, unaware of the consequences of his actions. The result of his experiment with the remains of the corpse and electricity was a simple, seemingly harmless creature (Robert De Niro) which, however, turned into a wrathful and vindictive monster after his ''father'' abandoned him. Dr. Frankenstein wished he had never created him! |

Based on the 1973 novel by J. G. Ballard. James and Catherine Ballard are a married couple whose sex life has been reduced to recounting tales of mutual infidelity to turn each other on. One night, James causes a head-on collision with a car carrying Dr. Helen Remington, killing her husband and severely injuring her and himself. Subsequent encounters with each other find that they are oddly sexually aroused by the danger of car accidents and potential accidents, and, with Catherine, soon fall in with a cult of car crash fetishists. The group is led by Vaughan, a former scientist twisted by his own disfigurement in an accident, and, as a result, a man obsessed with car crashes as a liberation of sexual energy. Vaughan inducts the Ballards and Dr. Remington into his surreal world of sex in the back seats of cars, re-enactments of famous car crashes (i.e. James Dean and Jayne Mansfield), viewing photos of accident victims and screenings of collision videos as pornography, and fender benders as mating rituals. |

This fantastic thriller bears strong resemblance to the "Cube" and "Pi" movies, and, at some points, lets us feel the paranoid atmosphere of Kafka's books. This ominous and ingenious film is one of the most outstanding indie projects, a "Sundance" and "Fant-Asia" festivals nominee. Simon (Jeremy Sisto), a young programmer, finds an unexpected package in his room, and, when the box is opened, he finds himself surrounded by strange events and obsessed by sudden wishes. Being a test subject in a dangerous experiment testing a new advertising scheme, Simon turns out to be plagued by mysteriously empty brown packages, a sense of paranoia and a craving to drink lots and lots of milk. |

Determined to retake his position as the most feared killer in Springwood, Freddy devises a plan to sedate Jason into unconsciousness in order to battle him to the death. Based on true events of the late 1980s and early 1990s, the movie tells the story of New York young clubgoers led by Michael Alig (Macauley Culkin) and James St. James (Seth Green). The over-free group was famous for their outrageous motley costumes, drunk sex orgy and extensive drug. They arranged illegal parties in the most unusual public places including subway, buses, superstores and doughnut shops. A 16-year-old guy, Michael Alig, arrived in New York City to win his way. He worked as a waiter in the nightclub, and then he began organizing parties there. His party themes eventually became more and more twisted. Moreover, Michael’s circle of acquaintance became more depraved: he was on friendly terms with transvestite Christina (Marilyn Manson) and aspiring DJ and drug addict Keoki (Wilmer Valderrama). His vicious life came to the end when he murdered his roommate and drug-dealer, Angel Melende (Wilson Cruz), and was put into prison. |
