The Chumscrubber is a dark comedy about the lives of people who live in upper-class suburbia. It all begins when Dean Stiffle finds the body of his friend, Troy. He doesn't bother telling any of the adults because he knows they won't care. Everyone in town is too self consumed to worry about anything else than themselves. And everybody is on some form of drug just to get themselves through the day. After Troy's death, local drug dealers at the school run out of their stash. They convince Dean to get Troy's stash or they are going to kill his brother that they kidnapped, but they grabbed the wrong kid. |

Follows a group of high school students growing up in southern California, based on the real-life adventures chronicled by Cameron Crowe. Stacy Hamilton and Mark Ratner are looking for a love interest, and are helped along by their older classmates, Linda Barrett and Mike Damone, respectively. The scheming Prime Minister comes up with the idea of declaring war on the USA, losing, and then accepting foreign aid. |

In 2010, the riskiest districts of Paris are walled off and turned into ghettos controlled by ruthless street gangs. After a weapon of mass destruction is stolen by Taha Bemamud's (Bibi Naceri) powerful gang and may take lives of millions of dwellers, Damien Tomaso, an elite police officer with expertise in martial arts and weaponry, is assigned to find and deactivate the bomb. He specializes in navigating the treacherous sections; however, he needs a guide to District B13. Thus Damien teams up with ex-thug Leito (David Belle) who is determined to rescue his kidnapped sister Lola, (Dany Verissimo), from the clutches of Taha's gang. |

Nicolas Cage and Laura Dern play a pair of lovers who think they're wild at heart on the run in David Lynch's surrealist road movie. Their horizons are constituted by little more than TV, and their romance sets them off on the way to sunny California. Cage's Sailor Ripley is a violent ex-con. Dern's Lula Pace Fortune, is the daughter of a rich, but mentally unstable mother. Lula's mother hates Sailor and sends for them a cop and a hitman. Along their intricate trip, Sailor and Lula have a lot of sex, relate the events of their past to date, share their obsessions for Elvis, and meet a lot of grotescue characters. Movie's atmosphere is rather typical for Lynch. |

Val Resnick (Gregg Henry), a member of a powerful criminal syndicate, must pay off a debt to his bosses. He draws his old pal and smart criminal partner, Porter (Mel Gibson), into a $140,000 heist from a Chinese gang. Assisted by Porter’s wife, Lynn (Deborah Kara Unger), they successfully rob the mob’s car. But the greedy and lowdown Resnick arrives at a conclusion that having all the money is better than half. Val, like a subtle psychologist, shows Lynn a photo of her husband in the arms of a fancy lady (Maria Bello) and gets what he has bargained for: the jealous, betrayed wife kills her own husband with two shots in the back. Without feeling a shred of guilt or remorse, they take all the dough and leave Porter for dead. Nonetheless, Porter survives the attack and five months later he is back, seeking his share and revenge on his ex-partner.

The plot revolves around four characters. The thief, Albert Spica (Michael Gambon), is a stout man with a broad and thick beard. Brute and boorish, he abuses people, including his aristocratic and reserved wife, Georgina (Helen Mirren). Enslaved and humbled, Georgina enters into a liaison relationship with a gentle bookseller, Michael (Alan Howard). They have intimacy between meals in the kitchen of her husband's restaurant. When Albert gets to know about their affair, he and his men track down Georgina's lover and kill him in his book store. Having found Michael's dead body, Georgina plots her long-awaited vengeance. She brings the body to the restaurant's chef, Richard (Richard Bohringer), and asks him to cook it. She then presents her lover's roasted flesh to her vicious husband and suggests that he take a bite of it. Surrounded by Albert's other victims, the wife shoots him as soon as he cuts a piece of the flesh. |

In the small town of Knapely, Yorkshire, England, Annie Clarke (Julie Walters) has just lost her husband, who was ill with leukemia. Inspired in his speech to the local Women's Institute, where he said that "the flowers of Yorkshire are like the women of Yorkshire", and "the last phase of the women of Yorkshire is always the most glorious", her best friend Chris Harper (Helen Mirren) decides to make a calendar with twelve local middle-age women nude to raise funds for the wing of leukemia treatment in the local hospital. The calendar becomes well succeeded, making them famous and affecting their lives. |

Gaylord Focker (Ben Stiller), a Jewish male nurse, is always plagued with bad luck and all his good deeds lead him into a string of mishaps. This time Greg tries his darndest to marry his beloved, Pam Byrnes (Teri Polo). However, after he spends his first weekend with Pam's parents at her sister's wedding on Long Island, this task becomes really tough. Things start to go horribly wrong when he loses his luggage at the airport. During the weekend Greg contrives to give Pam's sister, Deborah (Nicole DeHuff), a black eye, lose the Byrnes' rare cat and set their garden on fire. But there's more to it than that: his soon-to-be father-in-law, former CIA agent Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro), dislikes Greg very much and gives him an acid test. The strict and suspicious father even subjects his daughter's boyfriend to a lie detector. Will the Byrnes give their blessing to a future wedding between their daughter, the apple of their eyes, and the clumsy, bustling, accident-prone Greg? |

Fashion photographer Dick Avery (Fred Astaire), in search for an intellectual backdrop for an air-headed model, expropriates a Greenwich Village bookstore. When the photo session is over the store is left in a shambles, much to salesgirl Jo Stockton's (Audrey Hepburn) dismay. Avery stays behind to help her clean up. Later, he examines the photos taken there and sees Jo in the background of one shot. He is intrigued by her unique appearance, as is Maggie Prescott (Kay Thompson), the editor of a leading fashion magazine. They offer Jo a modeling contract, which she reluctantly accepts only because it includes a trip to Paris. Eventually, her snobbish attitude toward the job softens, and Jo begins to enjoy the work and the company of her handsome photographer. |

Al Lewis and Willy Clark were once a popular vaudeville comedy team called Lewis and Clark, also known as The Sunshine Boys. After forty-three years as a team, they parted company over eleven years prior on not too friendly terms as Willy wanted to continue his career whereas Al wanted to retire. They have not spoken since. Willy's nephew, Ben - a talent agent - has been trying to find acting jobs for his uncle since with little success as Willy's age and declining ability is showing. But a lucrative opportunity comes up when one of the major networks is producing and airing a special on the history of comedy, and want The Sunshine Boys to appear. Ben has to try and convince the comedy team to reunite for just this one gig. Ben has to try and manage the individual quirks and personalities of each of The Sunshine Boys while putting on a good face to the network that there is harmony within The Sunshine Boys comedy team. Ben also has to manage the lives of two men in the twilight of their lives. |

This enjoyable, light-hearted thriller revolves around a team of experts who specialize in testing security systems for high powered companies. The team includes veteran CIA operative Donald Crease (Sydney Poitier), expert in sound Erwin Emory (David Strathairn), young expert hacker Carl Arbegast (River Phoenix), and a gadget master named Mother (Dan Aykroyd). The head of the group is Martin Bishop (Robert Redford), an aging computer hacker who has been hiding from the FBI after he pulled off a sophisticated computer-based heist in the 1960s. One day Bishop is blackmailed by the government agents into finding and retrieving a valuable black box, containing a code-breaking device, from the mathematical genius who invented it. Bishop's colleagues naively go on the top secret mission, but soon find themselves reluctantly embroiled in a dark web of deception and betrayal, intrigue and murder. |

Former Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus is nearly set to be released from a mental hospital after being cleared. However, a visit from current Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau resurrects his insanity, and he is denied leaving. Determined to take out Clouseau once and for all, he escapes and blows up Clouseau's apartment, but fails to kill Clouseau. As a back-up plan, he abducts a famous scientist in order to build a Doomsday Machine which vaporizes whatever it shoots. Dreyfus threatens to use it unless Clouseau is exterminated, so reluctantly, 26 countries send their top assassin to kill the Chief Inspector. His clumsiness saves him again, and the assassin's attempts kill each other. In a conquest to save the world, Clouseau heads out to put an end to Dreyfus's terror once and for all. |

Professional daredevil and white-suited hero, The Great Leslie, convinces turn-of-the-century auto makers that a race from New York to Paris (westward across America, the Bering Straight and Russia) will help to promote automobile sales. Leslie's arch-rival, the mustached and black-attired Professor Fate vows to beat Leslie to the finish line in a car of Fate's own invention. The Blake Edwards style of slapstick and song originated with this movie. A dedication to Laurel and Hardy appears at the beginning of the film. Edwards' tribute to Stan and Ollie can be seen most clearly in the interaction between Professor Fate and his cohort Max, as well as in the operatic Pottsdorf pie fight. |

Manny (Ray Ramono), Sid (John Leguizamo), and Diego (Denis Leary) are currently living in a large valley surrounded by an enormously high ice wall on all sides. When a waterpark begins to form, the trio discovers that the ice wall is actually a wall that is barely holding a massive body of water that could flood the valley to nearly a mile underwater. A vulture tells them that there is a boat at the other end of the valley that may save them all, but they only have 3 days to make it or die. Manny is having trouble facing the fact that he may be the last mammoth left. Along the way, they meet Ellie (Queen Latifah), a mammoth who thinks she is a possum, and her possum brothers Crash (Sean William Scott) and Eddie (Josh Peck). As they begin to travel together, Manny learns, with help from Diego and Sid, that having this new mammoth with them, may not be as bad as Manny makes it out to be while they try to escape the oncoming and continually threatening flood. During their journey, Scrat the sabre-toothed squirrel has his own hilarious adventures that eventually leads to something else entirely. |
