Scotty Smalls moves to a new neighborhood with his mom and stepdad, and wants to learn to play baseball. The neighborhood baseball guru Rodriquez takes Smalls under his wing, and soon he's part of the local baseball buddies. They fall into adventures involving baseball, treehouse sleep-ins, the desirous lifeguard at the local pool, the snooty rival ball team, and the travelling fair. Beyond the fence at the back of the sandlot menaces a legendary ball-eating dog called The Beast, and the kids inevitably must deal with him. |

A small VHS only video store faces foreclosure in a poor community. While watching the store for the owner, a blundering employee's friend accidentally erases all of the tapes. In order to keep their blunder from becoming apparent, the duo of Mos Def and Jack Black begin remaking the films themselves using homemade special effects and outdated filming techniques. |

Early mammals have hard times: the Ice Age is come! An action of this computer-animated movie takes place twenty thousand years ago, when Arctic glaciers approached close to the motherland of Manny (voiced by Ray Romano), Sid (voiced by John Leguizamo) and Scrat (Wedge), who respectively are a mammoth, a sloth and a side-splitting saber-tooth squirrel. Freezing temperatures and the command of evil tigers oblige them to fight for survival, from time to time animals get into different hilarious and threatening situations, trying to save the human child which was torn from its tribe as a result of the tiger assault. Manny and Sid want to return the infant to his father when the demonic saber-toothed striped villain named Diego (Denis Leary) claims his rights to this child. |

Jimmy Rabbitte, just a tick out of school, gets a brilliant idea: to put a soul band together in Barrytown, his slum home in north Dublin. First he needs musicians and singers: things slowly start to click when he finds three fine-voiced females virtually in his back yard, a lead singer (Deco) at a wedding, and, responding to his ad, an aging trumpet player, Joey "The Lips" Fagan. Song by song, gig by gig, the Commitments start their climb to the top: Dublin gets soul. But internal strife also builds: Deco is insufferable, Joey's a Casanova, and Jimmy may lack the seasoning to hold things together. Will the Commitments slip away? |

In Paris, detective Claude Chavasse is hired to follow a wife suspected of infidelity with the notorious American libertine Frank Flannagan. When the husband learns that his suspicions are accurate, he tells Claude of his plan to kill Flannagan. Claude's daughter Ariane overhears the threat and warns Frank of the coming trouble. She then plays the part of a worldly socialite with a list of conquests as long as Flannagan's. The bemused ladies' man returns to America the next day and Ariane, completely in love, follows his romantic escapades in the news. She sees him again in Paris the following year, and resumes her worldly guise, telling tales of former lovers when they meet at his hotel in the afternoon. Frank, amazed by the mystery girl and surprised to find himself jealous of her past, hires Claude to uncover more information about her. When the detective realizes what has happened, he asks Frank not to break his daughter's heart. |

The action takes place in a small French town where its residents lead a hopeless life full of restrictions, rules and regulations. They are blamed and faced with a boycott for any irregularity. One winter day a mysterious young woman, Vianne Rocher (Juliette Binoche), and her 6-year-old daughter, Anouk (Victoire Thivisol), move to the conservative town. A stranger to fear and prejudice, she dares to open a chocolate shop during Lent and offer the customers to enjoy her delicious candies they've never tasted. Vianne is immediately met with bitter censure and resistance. But, vivacious and persistent, she doesn't lose heart and continues to work her magic giving love and comfort to those around her. It's no wonder that the locals are gradually won-over by this cordial, responsive woman and her delectable chocolates.

The Persian Gulf War comes to an end and the United States triumph over a defeated enemy. Hundreds of Iraqi officers and soldiers surrender themselves cradling leaflets promising food and drink, home and kind treatment. Sergeant First Class Troy Barlow (Mark Wahlberg) and Private First Class Conrad Vig (Spike Jonze) are charged to disarm, strip naked and search the surrendering Iraqi. They are lucky to have found an important document on a resisting Iraqi officer. The document proves to be a map that discloses the location of Saddam Hussein's caches of gold confiscated from Kuwait. Troy and Conrad arrive at a decision not to report their commanding officers, except their pal, Staff Sergeant Chief Elgin (Ice Cube). However, the rumors of the secret map reach the ears of Major Archie Gates (George Clooney), and the four soldiers come up with a selfish plan to abstract the treasure from the bunkers.
