Ash - the sole survivor of the original 'Evil Dead' - returns with his girlfriend Linda to the remote cabin in the woods. He discovers a tape recorder that a professor had used to record incantations from the Necronomicon XMortis - the Book of the Dead. When he turns it on, the recording releases a dark, sinister force from the woods. It turns Linda into a zombie, her soul possessed by some hideous demon, and then tries to do the same to Ash. Other people come to help Ash, but one by one they are taken over by the Evil Dead force that also possesses Linda, the Professor, and the Professor's wife...and they try to make sure Ash is...Dead by Dawn! |

Shrek and Princess Fiona are back from their happy honeymoon to pay the first visit to Fiona's parents, the King and Queen of the Kingdom of Far, Far Away. But the new in-laws are expecting to meet a stately prince, so they're in for a surprise when Fiona introduces them to a giant green ogre and his donkey friend. When King Harold realizes that his new son-in-law is a green-coloured monster, and their daughter has a problem with the magical spell gone wrong, he is emotionally shocked. Fiona's parents haven't ever dreamt of such green future for their daughter so King Harold decides to take Shrek out of his sight and return Fiona to her former appearance with the help of the Fairy Godmother (voice of Jennifer Saunders), Prince Charming (voice of Rupert Everett), and the famed ogre killer feline Puss in Boots (voice of Antonio Banderas). |

Harvey Pekar (Paul Giamatti) leads an ordinary life in the city of Cleveland, working as a file clerk at the local VA hospital. His routine life changes for the better when a chance meeting with a greeting card artist and music enthusiast Robert Crumb (James Urbaniak) develops into a warm friendship through their common interests. Once Crumb becomes famous for his underground comic books, Harvey decides to write his own book with Crumb’s illustrations. ‘American Splendor’ tells truthful, unsentimental, warts-and-all stories about his working-class life. Soon Harvey achieves cult fame and meets his future wife, Joyce (Joyce Brabner), a comic book storeowner from Delaware. |

Charlie Bucket, a poor boy who is barely able to support his family, is fortunate to be chosen as one of the 5 people to go inside the most popular and powerful chocalate factory in the world: The Willy Wonka Chocalate Factory. But a stranger, named Arthur Slugworth, tempts the kids to steal a piece of candy and give it to him. In exchange, he will make them rich. Willy Wonka, played by 'Gene Wilder'(qv), soon introduces them to the factory, and starts the grand tour around the factory. Once inside, the 5 winners start to run amuck. One by one, the 5 kids start to disappear, until it is only Charlie that remains. At this point, Wonka starts to ignore Charlie, and then tells him why: because Charlie and Grandpa Joe, played by 'Jack Albertson' (qv), drank some forbidden product without permission. Will Charlie turn against Wonka? Or will he discover that he was wrong and make up what he has done? |

Sabrina is the young daughter of the Larrabee family's chauffeur who has been in love with David Larrabee for all her life. David is very spoiled and crazy for women, and has been totally ignoring Sabrina for years. When Sabrina goes to Paris for a few years, she returns a very attractive and sophisticated woman, and David is quickly drawn to her. David's brother Linus sees this and fears that David's imminent wedding with a very rich woman may be endangered. If the wedding is canceled, so will a great corporate deal with the bride's family. So, Linus tries to keep Sabrina off his brother, and the best way to do so is by charming her himself. |

Wanda (Jamie Lee Curtis) brings her new secret lover, Otto (Kevin Kline) to England to help her and her lover George and stuttering animal lover Ken (Michael Palin) steal $20 million in diamonds. Wanda and Otto then turn in George to the police so they can have the loot for themselves, but George has already moved the diamonds and only he knows where they are. All four of the criminals start double-crossing each other to try to get to the diamonds before anyone else. Wanda tries to find them by "getting close" to George's barrister, Archie Leach (John Cleese), because if George pleads guilty he will tell Archie where the diamonds are to cut his sentence. Absolute hilarity ensues. |

Melvin Udall (Jack Nicholson), an eccentric, sarcastic writer, suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder which shows itself in many different ways. For example, he avoids stepping on the crack in the sidewalk. Every time he wants to wash his hands, he takes a new bar of soap. Melvin brings a plastic spoon and fork in a hermetically sealed bag to the café where he eats every day. He generally hates people and the only person he befriends is Carol Connelly (Helen Hunt), a single-mother waitress. Melvin finally comes out of his shell when his neighbor, Simon Bishop (Greg Kinnear), ends up in hospital after being brutally beaten and left penniless by muggers. He is forced to look after Simon's dog that teaches him to be kind-hearted and devoted. |

Ricky Gervais is performing in the same genius style as he usually does in his shows, and he is talking not only about his own experience of fame, but on what other people do to gain it. His jokes this time vary from Autistic people to Big Brother, and also touch upon his career quite a bit. |

Lars Lindstrom (Ryan Gosling) is a nice and kind-hearted but extremely introvert guy. Lars can hardly interact with other people in his small town, or even communicate normally with his family, co-workers, or folks from the church he attends. The young man rarely leaves the garage where he lives, except when he reluctantly accepts an invitation for dinner from his older brother Gus (Paul Schneider) and loving sister-in-law Karin (Emily Mortimer) to their house next door. One beautiful day he finally brings Bianca with him, a friend he met on the Internet. Gus and Karen are shocked. They don't know how to react, just because she is not real but a life-size doll while he is treating her as though she is alive. The family consults their doctor Dagmar (Patricia Clarkson) who gives certain advice... Next happen wonderful emotional revelations for Lars and people around him. The film deals with mental illness in an unexpectedly subtle way, avoiding cheap jokes that the topic could easily provoke but achieving really good humor at times. |

The throne of rightful king of England, the small babe with the purple pimpernel birthmark, has been usurped by the evil King Roderick. Only the Black Fox can restore the true king to the throne—and all he needs is the king's key to a secret tunnel. And while he's trying to steal it, someone has to change the king's diapers. The task falls to Hawkins, the gentlest member of the Fox's band.
