Set in Central Africa in 1870, the drama revolves around Dr. Jamie Dodd (Joseph Fiennes), an anthropologist who combs the tropical jungle for a rare species, hoping to find the link between man and ape. He is lucky to meet the indigenous population of pygmies who he thinks are the clue to the puzzle. Dodd captures two of them, Toko (Lomama Boseki) and Likola (Cécile Bayiha), and transports them to Scotland with the help of Elena Van den Ende (Kristin Scott Thomas), an agent selling wild animals to the zoos of Europe. After the thorough examination of the captive pygmies, Dodd comes to the conclusion that they are absolute equals with human beings, and attempts to do all in his power to free the couple despite the fact his actions can cost him his life.

The 19th installment follows MI-6 Commander James Bond to a swiss bank in Bilbao, Spain where upon retrieval of three million pounds (British dollars) a siege takes place. James barely escapes the local police, leaving them questioning the mysterious shooting that occurred minutes ago. The next day, at the MI-6 Headquarters in London, Bond first greet Miss Moneypenny and gives her a nice souvenir: a cigar. The Square Peg represents a classic World War II farce comedy starring Norman Wisdom, perhaps the best of the Wisdom comedies.
