Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd), a respectable, wealthy Philadelphia commodity broker, finds his life upended after his employers, Mortimer (Don Ameche) and Randolph Duke (Ralph Bellamy), make an unusual, one-dollar bet. Randolph believes that the company can be run by anyone, even a regular rascal. The Duke brothers find a perfect candidate for their cruel social experiment when they come across a street con named Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy). Billy unexpectedly finds himself placed in the lap of luxury and given a cushy job, while Lois is expelled from the company and stripped of his fashionable townhouse. But the eccentric brothers don't know that by switching the lifestyle of the criminal and the trusted employee they expose themselves to more risk than they have bargained for. |

At this point, enter the Fairy Godmother, the pumpkin carriage, the royal ball, the stroke of midnight, the glass slipper, and the rest, as they say, is fairy tale history. |

Manny is the "boss" of the convicts in an Alaskan high security prison. Renken, the heartless prison's administrator wants to kill him, so Manny escapes with the help of another young prisoner, Buck, who follows him. The two fugitives manage to get to a rail depot and get onboard a train. The problem is, the engineer has died and the the train is totally out of control, and nothing can stop it. So, leaving the prison, Manny and Buck find themselves aboard something that is both their freedom and their death... |

At home, he holds conversations with his fish, who encourage him to do it. His supervisor picks on him. As he's screwing his courage to the sticking place, he drops a bullet; while on the floor looking for it, another colleague does exactly what Bob has been planning. Bob emerges a hero and the one colleague he likes, a woman with a bright smile, is severely wounded. Can Bob help her through despair and find himself and joy in life? On the way to school photographer Elias (Elias McConnell) takes some pictures of a punk-rock couple. After football practice Nathan (Nathan Tyson) leaves gym class and meets up with girlfriend Carrie (Carrie Finklea) for lunch. John leaves his dad’s car keys in the school office for his brother to collect. In the cafeteria, Brittany (Brittany Mountain), Jordan (Jordan Taylor) and Nicole (Nicole George) gossip and complain about their mothers’ snooping. Michelle (Kristen Hicks) dashes to the school library for her volunteer work. John (John Robinson) walks out onto the lawn, crossing paths with outsiders Alex (Alex Frost) and Eric (Eric Deulen)... It begins with an abstract battle of light and darkness set to the music of Beethoveen's Fifth Symphony. Then we see the adventures of a Humpback Whale calf and his pod set to "The Pines of Rome." Next is the humourous story of several lives in 1930's New York City, scored with "Rhapsody in Blue." Following is a musical telling of the fairy tale, "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" set to Dmitri Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2. Then a goofy Flamingo causes havoc in his flock with his yo-yo to the tune of the finale of "Carnival of the Animals." This is followed by the classic sequence from the original film, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" starring Mickey Mouse and followed by "Pomp and Circumstance" starring Donald Duck as a harried assistant to Noah on his Ark. Finally, we see the awesome tale of the life, death and renewal of a forest in a sequence featuring the composition, "The Firebird." |

Ted was a geek in high school, who was going to go to the prom with one of the most popular girls in school, Mary. The prom date never happened, because Ted had a very unusual accident. Thirteen years later he realizes he is still in love with Mary, so he hires a private investigator to track her down. That investigator discovers he too may be in love with Mary, so he gives Ted some false information to keep him away from her. But soon Ted finds himself back into Mary's life, as we watch one funny scene after another. |

Willie (Billy Bob Thornton), a lonely drunkard, and his midget friend Marcus (Tony Cox) work the Holiday seasons as Santa Claus and his elf in department stores. However, their intent is to rob malls so as to hit the jackpot. When Christmas shoppers, satisfied with their purchaces, leave the mall, Santa and his Elf crack the store safe and make off with their own holiday presents. But in Phoenix their annual robbery gets endangered by a pesky store manager, a sharp mall detective, and a precocious 8-year-old boy who believes that Willie—as intoxicated and felonious as he seems to be—is the real Santa he's been looking for. The innocent, ingenuous little boy evokes inner change in Santa. |
