This is a screen version of the most terrific book of the same name (The Red Dragon) by Thomas Harris. The famous trilogy of an evil Gannibal Lecter finds the brilliant, dreadful ending in this suspense series, taking place before events with Clarissa Starling and before the Silence of the Lambs episode. The man who smoked out the mysterious maniac, Gannibal Lecter, now is to pursue the bloodier criminal, who is known as The Tooth Fairy. This ruthless scum carries out massacres of the whole families, and the FBI agent Will Graham (Edward Norton) will face many complications catching the bastard. Will has a mysterious gift which allows him to penetrate into the minds of the criminals, he got retired after catching Lecter, but the massacres having place compel him to return to his dangerous duties. The fate is cynical: Graham is to ask imprisoned Gannibal Lecter for help to succeed, because the monstrous man-eater is a former forensic psychiatrist... and he is in some way connected with the Tooth Fairy. |

Thelma (Geena Davis) and Louise (Susan Sarandon) are two housewives bothered with their spouses; they are old friends and want to go on a spree one week-end. But what happens in a bar along the time, makes them go on the run: when a drunken man tries to rape Thelma, Louise shoots him and kills. The mystery thriller tells two stories. Caught up in a nasty rainstorm, ten strangers have to spend the night at an old motel in a godforsaken small town. Among the travellers are parents (Leila Kenzle and John C. McGinley) with a young son (Bret Loehr); a cop (Ray Liotta) transporting a convict (Jake Busey); a limousine driver (John Cusack); a movie star (Rebecca De Mornay); a young couple (Clea DuVall and William Lee Scott); and a call girl (Amanda Peet). Relief in taking shelter is quickly replaced with fear as they realize that they are entrapped. One by one the lodgers begin dying a violent death in a mysterious way; nevertheless, they can’t figure out the cold-blooded and sofisticated murderer. It becomes obvious that their arrival at the motel is no coincidence. Each of the stranded travellers has a sin on his conscience, therefore, it's high time for retribution. eanwhile, elsewhere, at an emergency midnight sitting of the court, Dr. Malick (Alfred Molina) tries to convince Judge Taylor (Holmes Osborne) that Malcolm Rivers (Pruitt Taylor Vince), a serial killer sentenced to death is, in fact, insane and irresponsible for his actions. How can these two events be related? |

In Middletown, at 11:14 PM, two cars accidents happen at the same time, affecting the lives of five different groups of people. A drunken driver hits a man in a lonely road near a bridge; three young men hits a woman with a van, one of the passenger has a severed penis while another man on the road shoots them; a young man robs a convenience store, with the support of the clerk; a man finds a body in a cemetery and gets rid off it; and a young woman pretending to be pregnant tries to raise money for an abortion. The violent attack on Matthew Shepard was the kind of wakeup call a society fortunately doesn't get very often. Shepard, a gay college student, was found tied to a fence after being hardly beaten to death (he died five days later). This tragedy made Laramie, WY, infamous overnight in the fall of 1998 and set American society in debates on homophobia. This film is the response of the one American playwright Moises Kaufman, his goal was to create a play that focused not on the assault on Matthew Shepard, but on the community where such an attack could happen, and how many of the citizens reacted to the crime. The result is this inquiry into hate and the thoughts and feelings of an American community. It's a film, based on the play by the troupe, that presents the details of the slaying as revealed by those closest to it, and the truth lies in the details. |

Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is an unruly cop from Detroit whose friend Mikey (James Russo) is murdered right in front of his eyes, by a man called Zack (Jonathan Banks). Axel doesn't hesitate to follow Zack to Beverly Hills, California, while Beverly Hills police seems to be rather reluctant about the case. So, Axel talks to his friend Jenny Summers (Lisa Eilbacher), an art gallery associate, who is very helpful because, as appears, her boss has certain connections with the criminal world and is related to the murder. |

Negotiator is a person who is to conduct talks with a terrorists or another kind of criminals when hostages are taken. When a police negotiator Danny Roman (Samuel L. Jackson) standing on his own legs, one of the best negotiators in Chicago, is framed and faced the perspective of serving time for a murder he not committed, he has to take hostages. His friend is killed by corrupt cops, and the detractive documents are stealthily placed to defile Roman's reputation. When Inspector Terence Niebaum (J.T. Walsh) and his equally corrupted colleagues conduct a search in Roman's place of abode, he takes them as hostages and demands to talk with a negotiator who serves in another police precinct, because he knows that the killer of the friend is between his own counterparts. Chris Sabian (Kevin Spacey), a high-skilled negotiator, is involved and all that Roman can do is to try to prove his innocence and to expose the real criminals. |

Even a telephone kiosk can become a deadly trap when you have something to hide in connection with your dubious reputation, if you have such. A New-Yorker, journalist Steven Shepard (Colin Farrell) who used to lie to everybody from his boss to his wife and lover, picks up a receiver at a phone booth and becomes the hostage of a maniac sniper who targets him with a laser sight. This guy draws Steve out demanding a forced confession in all his lies, a confession which can cost him his job and relations with his wife. In other hand, denial will cost him his life as well as if he'd hang up the phone. Meanwhile, police forces which gathered around the booth as a passing pedestrian is injured by a maniacal shooter, consider Steve himself as a maniac, being unaware of sniper existence. A murder is announced in the Chipping Cleghorne Gazette to take place on October 5th, 7 PM at Little Paddocks cottage. The people living there, retired secretary Miss Blacklock, her companion Miss Bunner, Miss Blacklock's two distant cousins, Patrick and Julia and Mrs.Haymes, a gardener, have no idea what the ad is about. Several villagers arrive at the house under the false pretenses of "just walking by" or "Was in the neighborhood". At exactly 7 PM, the lights go out, and a man enters the room, and shines a flashlight in everyone's face. Then shots are heard. As the lights come back on, they find the man who entered the room has been shot. Miss Marple must unmask the killer but soon more murders turn up. |

Sydney is a veteran gambler in his sixties who still spends his time at the casinos. When he meets John, a loser with no money at all, he sees him as a son and tries to help him.
