Screenwriter Hudson Milbank suffers from acute depersonalization disorder. So alienated from his own life that he makes the chronically depressed look perky, Hudson lives alone, watches The Golf Channel all day, can't hang on to a relationship, shoplifts in order to get his adrenalin up off the floor, fears that thinking about his dad's death will bring it to pass, loathes his mother, and in general, is as nutty as a crapshack in a peanut farm. Obsessed with the underlying sadness that infuses his wretched existence, Hudson is a man in hell, but he thinks that his long catalogue of dismally unsatisfying and mutually self-destructive relationships is over when SARA stumbles into his life. He knows she can save him. She knows he has to save himself. Together they save each other. And it's funny too. |

It is the height of the war in Vietnam, and U.S. Army Captain Willard is sent by Colonel Lucas and a General to carry out a mission that, officially, 'does not exist - nor will it ever exist'. The mission: To seek out a mysterious Green Beret Colonel, Walter Kurtz, whose army has crossed the border into Cambodia and is conducting hit-and-run missions against the Viet Cong and NVA. The army believes Kurtz has gone completely insane and Willard's job is to eliminate him! Willard, sent up the Nung River on a U.S. Navy patrol boat, discovers that his target is one of the most decorated officers in the U.S. Army. His crew meets up with surfer-type Lt-Colonel Kilgore, head of a U.S Army helicopter cavalry group which eliminates a Viet Cong outpost to provide an entry point into the Nung River. After some hair-raising encounters, in which some of his crew are killed, Willard, Lance and Chef reach Colonel Kurtz's outpost, beyond the Do Lung Bridge. Now, after becoming prisoners of Kurtz, will Willard & the others be able to fulfill their mission? |

The movie is really touching, dramatic and poetically aesthetic, focusing attention at the social life disharmony and the delicate beauty surrounding us. |

This is the story of a guy, Joel, who discovers that his long-time girlfriend, Clementine, has undergone a psychiatrist's experimental procedure in which all of her memory of Joel is removed, after the couple has tried for years to get their relationship working fluidly. Frustrated by the idea of still being in love with a woman who doesn't remember their time together, Joel agrees to undergo the procedure as well, to erase his memories of Clementine. The film, which takes place mostly within Joel's mind, follows his memories of Clementine backwards in time as each recent memory is replaced, and the procedure then goes on to the previous one, which is likewise seen, and then erased. Once the process starts, however, Joel realizes he doesn't really want to forget Clementine, so he starts smuggling her away into parts of his memory where she doesn't belong which alters other things about his memories as well... |

The eye-opening drama depicts a slice of the lives of four people entrapped by their addictions. Harry Goldfarb (Jared Leto), his girlfriend Marion Silver (Jennifer Connelly) and his best pal Tyrone C. Love (Marlon Wayans) are massively hooked on drugs. They enjoy blowing their minds but haven't yet gone to pieces so they live a relatively full life having dreams and making plans for the future. Knowing that heroin brings in a lot of cash, they become small-time drug dealers who have many things to take care of: where to obtain the goods, who to sell, how not to be caught red-handed. They successfully sell drugs in the streets of New York but one day their fragile world crashes down when they have to put an end to their business due to the showdown between local mobsters. The lost source of income doesn't sadden them much. What drives them to despair is having nowhere to get drugs for themselves. Harry and Tyrone arrive at a decision to go to Florida to buy heroine in bulk at cheaper prices. Along the way, Harry is tormented by gangrene of the hand that worsens and results in amputation. Tyron is put in prison. The cocaine-obsessed Marion begins to sell herself in order to get the drug.
Meanwhile, Harry's widowed mother, Sara Goldfarb (Ellen Burstyn), who is addicted to television is selected to appear on her favourite game show. Wanting to fit into her best red dress, she visits a doctor who prescribes amphetamines which depress appetite. Sara soon becomes dependent on the diet pills and ends up in mental hospital. The moral of the story is that all addictions have dire consequences.

This is the story of a named Penelope, who is the victim of a curse placed on a wealthy family by a witch. After generations ago, a witch placed a curse on the Wilhern family that would result in the next girl being born into the clan having the face of a pig. The otherwise-normal girl Penelope is forced to endure life with a pig's snout instead of a conventional nose, which has sent many a potential suitor running off into the streets, shouting in terror. Eventually, she runs away from her sheltered existence and overprotective parents, to explore the world on her own. As she meets new friends and a potential lover who doesn't run away, she begins to discover happiness - while all the while her parents believe the only way she can be happy is through an arranged marriage, which will hopefully break her curse. |

This is the epic story of courage, honor and the destructive power of war.
