Based on the events of September 11, 2001, the drama tells the true-life story of courageous police officers John McLoughlin (Nicolas Cage) and Will Jimeno (Michael Pena) who rushed into the sprawling twin towers of the World Trade Center after they were hit by planes piloted by terrorists. John and Will tried desperately to rescue civilians, but became entombed under the rubble when the skyscrapers collapsed. Fortunately, these two were the eighteenth and nineteenth men of twenty to be pulled out alive.

Playing with a cute rabbit called Mimzy has a wholesome effect on the kids. Noah and Emma grow wiser by leaps and bounds, reaching actually a genius level IQ. And what is more, they develop the abilities to levitate, move objects via telekinesis, and communicate telepathically with their own and other species. When the kids’ workaholic parents Jo (Joely Richardson) and David (Timothy Hutton), as well as their science teacher Larry White (Rainn Wilson), ultimately notice amazing changes in them, they find themselves drawn into a bizarre new world.

Secret Service agent Tobin Keller (Sean Penn) is brought in to investigate Broome's story, and it isn't long before he's convinced that she knows more than she's willing to tell. Keller has his doubts. Is Silvia a witness or is she somehow connected to the threat against the African head of state? "The Interpreter" is a cat and mouse game with a few of the involved parties appearing to change sides throughout the process. Sometimes you should pay close attention in order to keep up with the plot (you can miss a key detail being away for a tea watching this film). |

No one trusts anyone and every step is shaded with the unexpected. |
