When he fails to find the tribe, he comes home, and rather than admitting that he's failed, he gives a lecture about the Shelmikedmu tribe (named after his children: Shelly, Mike, and Edmund) and then has his family dress like "Shelmikedmus," so that he can film them as proof of his discovery. |

Phillip Brainard, who is a professor at a college and a small time worker in his own basement, is trying to create a great invention. Unfortunately he always failed to invent something, but he is so obsessed about it that he even puts off his own wedding to his fiancée, Sara. One day, he finally invents something that works, this substance can cause even the heaviest things to bounce in the air, 'flying rubber', but Brainard called it "Flubber". However, he sees Sara going out with another professor from another college and several criminals trying to rob him. So, Brainard has to find out a way to defeat the criminals and to get back his Fiancee. Hopefully, Flubber can help him. |

The Majestic Hotel is a 5 star luxurious establishment, and Manager Robert Grant is devoted to keeping his guests happy. However his sons, Brian and Kyle are quite the opposite, troublesome and mischievous. Robert discovers for the chairman of the hotel that a Sixth star could be rewarded to the Majectic Hotel, if a representative is impressed, and this representative is an undercover guest of the Majestic Hotel. But then Lord Rutlidge and his well-trained Monkey, Dunston, check into the hotel. Dunston is trained as a jewel thief by his violent owner, Rutlidge, and Dunston attempts to escape a life of crime and with the help of Kyle and Brian, might just destroy the chances of the hotel becoming a 6-star. |

High school sweethearts Frank Beardsley and Helen North nee White are reunited when Frank and his family move back to his home town of New London. What may be more problematic is that he is an Admiral with the Coast Guard and as such has a very regimented view of how things should be done, whereas she is a free spirit - she is a designer by trade - with a more lackadaisical attitude. Their respective children, who are a product of their parent's views, hate each other. They however feel that they can better rid themselves of their new situation by joining forces to show their parents their respective philosophical differences about life.
