In 1991, in Iraq, the military Jack Starks is shot in the head and presumed dead. When he blinks his eyes in the morgue, the doctor is called. One year later, after being discharged from the army, while hitchhiking in a road in Vermont having amnesia problem, he helps a drunken woman, Jean Price, and her daughter, Jackie Price, fixing their car. Later, he gets a lift, but the driver is stopped by the police and kills the policeman with three shots. Jack is also shot in the head and incriminated by the real killer, who leaves his gun close to the fainted Jack. He goes to court and is sentenced to the mental institution Alpine Grove for insane criminals. Jack becomes the experiment of Dr. Thomas Becker, who drugs and dresses him with a jacket and lock him in a drawer for corpses in the morgue. While locked, Jack travels to 2007, where he meets a grown-up Jackie Price and they fall in love for each other. Jack envisions that the only exit from the institution is though the jacket. |

The horror movie by Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre director) follows the Doyle family as they move to a small, sleepy California town and attempt to run a funeral home and cemetery. The formerly abandoned funeral home seems not to be clear of spirits of horror, rumors are swirling around the community that Bobby may still be alive. Bobby was a hideously disfigured child of a pair of morticians, who lived in this piece of land and have been murdered soon after their son disappeared at the age of eight. |

The plot revolves around four characters. The thief, Albert Spica (Michael Gambon), is a stout man with a broad and thick beard. Brute and boorish, he abuses people, including his aristocratic and reserved wife, Georgina (Helen Mirren). Enslaved and humbled, Georgina enters into a liaison relationship with a gentle bookseller, Michael (Alan Howard). They have intimacy between meals in the kitchen of her husband's restaurant. When Albert gets to know about their affair, he and his men track down Georgina's lover and kill him in his book store. Having found Michael's dead body, Georgina plots her long-awaited vengeance. She brings the body to the restaurant's chef, Richard (Richard Bohringer), and asks him to cook it. She then presents her lover's roasted flesh to her vicious husband and suggests that he take a bite of it. Surrounded by Albert's other victims, the wife shoots him as soon as he cuts a piece of the flesh. |

An idyllic wildlife cruise disintegrates into terror when a party of tourists are stalked by a massive man-eating crocodile. Pete McKell, a cynical American travel writer, joins a disparate group of holiday-makers on a river cruise through the waters of Kakadu National Park. Initially Pete clashes with their tour captain, Kate, a feisty young woman who assumes he is just another 'city-slicker' in search of a quick thrill. After an uneventful day cruising the river, Kate is reluctantly persuaded to steer their boat into unexplored territory. They discover a secluded lake but terror strikes when their craft receives a powerful blow from beneath the murky depths and begins to sink. With little choice, she beaches the vessel on the closest dry land -a tiny mud island. With a rising tide and only half an hour of daylight left, fear grips the group as they realize they are trapped in the lair of a 'rogue' crocodile, governed only by its need to hunt and kill. Begrudgingly, Pete and Kate join forces to keep hysteria at bay and in the process start to see beyond their initial impressions. Their first attempt to escape fails, but then Pete has an idea - they must trap the crocodile to enable the group to flee to the other side of the island whilst Kate swims for help. Pete volunteers to stand guard, but without warning, the beast breaks free and targets Kate who fails to resurface. As darkness descends and the muddy waters rise, a terrifying struggle ensues with only one probable outcome death. |

Holy jinkies, Batman, just when it seemed superheroes couldn't get any groovier, you collide with the Mystery Machine gang. Such a pairing might normally yield one wacky crime-fighting power struggle, but in these two capers egos take a back seat to classic you-check-this-out, we'll-check-that Scooby-Doo splintering. First, bat-plagued pranksters Penguin and the Joker kidnap a hopelessly tongue-tied professor in a scheme to swindle a high-tech flying suit. Then the conniving criminals return as bit players in a counterfeiting ring run out of a way-wacky funhouse. Soar along in the Batmobile or make like a banana and split with Shaggy and Scoob at these crime scenes—either way, it's a secret-passageway and scary-mask-packed combo even more compelling than the cookies-and-batmilk Scooby snack the pesky kids tuck into during a break in the action. |

Mari decides to go to town and meets a guy named Justin (Spencer Treat Clark) who invites her to his hotel room. As they go to his place, Justin's criminal parents appear, and starting from this point the bloody story of Mari's sufferings begins: Krug (Garret Dillahunt), Justin's father, kidnaps and tortures the girl, and all her efforts are now focused on escaping this gang of psychos. |

Scientist Andre Delambre becomes obsessed with his latest creation, a matter transporter. He has varying degrees of success with it. He eventually decides to use a human subject, himself, with tragic consequences. During the transferance, his atoms become merged with a fly, which was accidentally let into the machine. He winds up with the fly's head and one of it's arms and the fly winds up with Andre's head and arm. Eventually, Andre's wife, Helene discovers his secret and must make a decision whether to let him continue to live like that or to do the unthinkable and euthanize him to end his suffering. |

Kurt Menliff (Christopher Lee) is a ruthless and sadistic 19th Century nobleman who returns to his seafront castle home after years of wondering and is immediately at odds with his invalid father, a Count, as well as Kurt's spinless younger brother Christian, whom is married to Kurt's cousin and former lover Nevenka. When Kurt is found in his room on the next night, murdered, suspicion falls on everyone which gets more complicated when Nevenka begins seeing his ghost (real or imaginary?) haunting the castle supposedly wanting revenge against his killers. |

Three horror anthology stories featuring Karen Black in four different roles playing tormented women. In the first story, Julie Eldridgex (Karen Black) is a sexually repressed high school teacher who is blackmailed by one of her students for a past indiscretions which she played an unwilling part. But the student is unaware that Julie plots to turn the tables on him the first chance she gets. In the second story, Millicent Larimore (Karen Black) is a plain-looking, almost reclusive woman whom lives with her amoral twin sister Therese (also Karen Black) whom delights in tormenting her. However, only their doctor whom visits from time to time knows the real thing behind the scene. In the final story, Amelia (Karen Black... again) in a solo horror story monologue plays a mother-dominated woman who buys an African Zuni fetish doll for her latest boyfriend in which the doll comes to life and terrorizes her in her own apartment. |

The efficient and skeptical freelance insurance investigator John Trent is hired by the publisher Jackson Harglow to find where the famous writer Sutter Cane might be. After writing a series of best-sellers in the horror genre, affecting the reason and causing disorientation, memory loss, and paranoia in readers, Sutter has simply vanished near the release of his new novel, "Horror in Hobb's End." There is mass hysteria of his anxious fans waiting for the new release, and John believes that his disappearance is a marketing strategy. John follows his instincts and travels with Cane's editor, Linda Styles, to New Hampshire, seeking for the apparently fictional town of Hobb's End. While driving along in the night, Linda reaches Hobb's End, and John discloses that Sutter Cane has unleashed a powerful evil force in the black church of the mysterious town, and his twisted imagination is changing the reality and perception of those who read his novels. |

Nursery teacher Jenny and her boyfriend Steve, escape for a romantic weekend away. Steve, planning to propose, has found an idyllic setting: a remote lake enclosed by woodlands and seemingly deserted. The couple's peace is shattered when a gang of obnoxious kids encircles their campsite. Reveling in provoking the adults, the gang steals the couple's belongings and vandalizes their car leaving them completely stranded. When Steve confronts them, tempers flare and he suffers a shocking and violent attack. Fleeing for help, Jenny is subject to a brutal and relentless game of cat-and-mouse as she desperately tries to evade her young pursuers and find her way out of the woods. |

Frank Bannister is a man who goes around town claiming that he can talk with and see ghosts, though while he can, some believe (though he is, in fact) a common con-man who gets ghosts to make it appear though there is a haunting in whichever house is chosen, wherein he sweeps into action and pretends to remove the ghosts. All this goes on until one day strange deaths start occurring all throughout town and Frank ponders this, while his love interest, Lucy Lynskey, whose husband had only just died of the same cause, goes to the house of a deranged old woman who keeps her grown-up daughter locked up, saying that it is for the good of everyone else. Soon, it is revealed that even the ghosts themselves can see the force that is killing everyone off; a deceased mass murderer come back from Hell itself to continue killing. It is therefore up to Frank, Lucy, as well as two ghosts, to find out how to end the fiendish ghost from killing any more, while all the while trying to shake off a deranged detective from arresting them both. |

A married couple sail the Pacific Ocean to forget a tragic accident. After a month at sea, they sight a mysterious yacht and are boarded by its lone surviving crew member. When the husband discovers the yacht's terrible secret, the crewman goes wild, kidnapping his wife and taking his ship. Terror on the high seas is center stage as the husband fights to keep the mystery yacht afloat and his wife battles the psychotic who's assumed control of their ship. |
