A horde of intrepid Vikings reaches the shores of Gaul, hoping to learn what fear is. Believing that fear gives you wings, they are determined to find a "Champion of Fear" who can teach them to fly so that they can become invincible warriors. However, their quest gets nowhere because the one thing the Gaulish villagers fear is that the sky may fall on their heads. Fortunately for the Vikings, they encounter Vitalstatistix' nephew, the coward Justforkix (Sean Astin), who they gladly kidnap and take to their native land. Now it's up to Asterix (Paul Giamatti) and Obelix (Brad Garrett) to go to the icy Norway and rescue Justforkix.
