Set in 2035, the futuristic science fiction movie revolves around convict James Cole (Bruce Willis) who volunteers to make a perilous trip back into the past. He is sent back to the year 1996 to help scientists to find the origins of a lethal virus that has killed 99% of the human population and has forced the survivors to live beneath the surface of the planet. Thus, the animals begin to dominate the world once again. Unfortunately for Cole, he finds himself mistakenly sent to 1990 and locked up in a mental asylum by Dr. Kathryn Railly(Madeleine Stowe) who considers him to be insane. While struggling to convince the psychiatrist that he is not crazy, he forms a bond with Jeffrey Goines (Brad Pitt), the mad son of a famous virus expert (Christopher Plummer), and tries to unravel the mystery of the epidemic. |

This movie is based on the TV Series "Firefly". "SERENITY" takes place 500 years in the future when the crew of a small transport ship takes on odd and sometimes criminal assignments. A small, eclectic crew of the ship is squabbling, insubordinate and undyingly loyal to its captain, Malcolm Reynolds (Nathan Fillion). When he takes two new passengers onboard - a young doctor and his unstable, telepathic sister, he gets much more than he bargained for. The pair are fugitives from the coalition dominating the universe, who will stop at nothing to reclaim the girl. The crew must defend the entrance to a galaxy-wide broadcasting station while the captain, Mal, tries to tell the worlds the truth behind the mysterious deaths on planet Miranda. |

Rykker is an intergalactic warrior trapped on Earth, destined to fight a gang of ruthless aliens known as The Syndicate. The syndicate is an alien fifth column plotting to take over the world. The film opens with a spectacular highway chase, as Rykker liquidates several syndicate agents. Saylon is a top syndicate leader who comes from outer space and crash-lands on Earth. His mission to build a wormhole link between Earth and the alien planet - a portal - making possible a full-scale invasion of the Earth. Isis is the sexy and ruthless leader of the syndicate on Earth. While launching a robbery spree to steal the spare parts necessary to build the portal, Isis becomes hell bent on destroying Rykker and clearing the way for Saylon's master plan. Julie is a fifteen year old who's family is murdered During the hijacking of a truck carrying material for the portal. Julie left totally alone in the world, Seeks vengeance on the killers. Rykker also seeks to find them. He must stop them before they complete the portal and flood the world with alien scum. Julie and Rykker are thrown together by tragic circumstance. They hook up - actually, she follows him against his will; he tries and tries to ditch her, but she keeps popping up, even saving his life at one point - and embark on a cross country journey, with Isis and an army of syndicate killers in hot pursuit. The final showdown, inside a nuclear reactor, is a balls to the wall action climax, as Rykker and Julie battle Isis, Saylon and their army of killers, and try to prevent the portal from opening a rein of destruction upon Earth. |

After a violent storm attacks a town in Maine, an approaching cloud of mist appears the next morning. As the mist quickly envelops the area, a group of people get trapped in a local grocery store -among them, artist David Drayton and his five-year-old son. The people soon discover that within the mist lives numerous species of horrific, unworldly creatures that entered through an inter-dimensional rift, which may or may not have been caused by a nearby military base. Based on Katsuhiro Otomo's popular manga, this animated sci-fi feature opens in New-Tokyo in 2019, thirty years after the planet has been ravaged by a nuclear war. The highways are ruled by motorcycle gangs; corrupt politicians try to hold the whip hand over the population; unscrupulous scientists run experiments on kids with the hope of expanding human psychic powers. During the conflict between two rival gangs of bikers, Tetsuo loses control of the bike and nearly runs down a child-like blue-skinned stranger. The military unexpectedly shows up at the scene of the accident and takes him to a top-secret facility. There, Tetsuo becomes a test subject to awaken Akira, a source of incredible psychic and physical powers and the cause of the nuclear explosion in Tokyo thirty years ago. However, the tests trigger the growth of Tetsuo's innate psychokinetic ability. He breaks out and begins to go on a rampage, wreaking havoc on Neo Tokyo. |

But the fearless little boy is ready to take any risk in order to protect his metal pal against the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines and hides him in the junkyard.

While visiting the Earth at Night, a group of alien botanists is discovered and disturbed by an approaching human task force. Because of the more than hasty take-off, one of the visitors is left behind. The little alien finds himself all alone on a very strange planet. Fortunately, the extra-terrestrial soon finds a friend and emotional companion in 10-year-old Elliot, who discovered him looking for food in his family's garden shed. While E.T. slowly gets acquainted with Elliot's brother Michael, his sister Gertie as well as with Earth customs, members of the task force work day and night to track down the whereabouts of Earth's first visitor from Outer Space. The wish to go home again is strong in E.T., and after being able to communicate with Elliot and the others, E.T. starts building an improvised device to send a message home for his folks to come and pick him up. But before long, E.T. gets seriously sick, and because of his special connection to Elliot, the young boy suffers, too. The situation gets critical when the task force finally intervenes. By then, all help may already be too late, and there's no alien spaceship in sight. |

This world is built as a conflict-free society after the devastating Third World War, the monocratic Father and the Tetragrammaton have established the dictatorship over the Libria, a futuristic city-state. Human emotions are suppressed by voluntary injections of the "prosium", a preparation which helps the System to control its citizens. John Preston (Christian Bale), a government special agent is also under the influence of this drug, but when he forget to take a doze, he accidentally hear the fragment of the Beethoven's Ninth Symphony seeing the sunrise and discover himself unable to be a pawn of the System anymore as his emotions awake. |

The movie is exactly the length of a DV Tape and a sub-plot is established by showing bits and pieces of video previously recorded on the tape that is being recorded over. The movie starts as a monster of unknown origin destroys a building. As they go to investigate, parts of the building and the head of the Statue of Liberty come raining down. The movie follows their adventure trying to escape and save a friend, a love interest of the main character. |
