As Neo (Keanu Reeves) somehow becomes trapped in a train station between The Matrix and the real world, Morpheus, Trinity, and Seraph set out to rescue him by means of the Merovingian. As this is going on, the Machines are approaching Zion with the intent of laying waste to every human there, but they do not realize that something is taking over The Matrix, with the intent of destroying everything: Smith. After Neo is freed, he and Trinity take the Logos and make a beeline for the Machine City. The Machines have reached Zion and the battle of a lifetime rages on. However, there is one way to save Zion and put an end to the war, and that is Neo. He must venture into the Matrix and put an end to Smith's evil plans once and for all, and if he succeeds, Zion will live to see another day. It's like the Oracle says, "Everything that has a beginning has an end." |

A local criminal authority, cop-killing mobster Marion Bishop is being transferred to soon-to-be-closed Precinct 13 at the New Year's Eve. Few cops and several cons are closed there by a snowstorm, which has stopped the prison bus on its way to a more secure destination. Despite everything, cops are going to celebrate the holiday, but their plans will fail not even due to Bishop's colleagues intending his release. The paranoid thriller centers on Walter Sparrow (Jim Carrey), an average man who has dearly loved wife Agatha (Virginia Madsen) and teenage son Robin (Logan Lerman) and works as a dog-catcher. His perfectly ordered life starts to unravel when he gets a red-covered detective book, The Number 23, for his birthday. Walter becomes absorbed in reading the novel, and the deeper he gets into the plot, the more convinced he is that the book bears similarities to his own life. The only difference between the book and Walter’s life is that the story doesn’t have a happy ending. Walter suspects the murder to take place in reality and becomes obsessed with the idea of uncovering a mystery that drives him mad.

Somewhere onboard hides a Playboy's supermodel, which was to perform a strip-dance during the celebration; she is also to be rescued and taught how to make an explosive using a common cocoa butter and other (at first site harmless) components. This action thriller became a classic of the genre. |

After an accident in a tunnel, a forensics expert (Denzel Washington) is left as a quadriplegic who is able only to move his head and one finger. Setting his finger to a computer, he is able to manipulate his environment with the help of a loving nurse (Queen Latifah). Even so, fearing seizures that could leave him a vegetable, he plans his "transition" with the help of a hesitational doctor friend. That all changes when he is confronted with clues from a serial killer that obviously are pointed to forensics investigation. The case clearly re-invokes his interest in life. A sharp, young cop's quick thinking saves the first crime scene. Recognizing her talent for forensics, he brings her (Angelina Jolie) unwillingly into forensics detection. Through radio contact, she becomes his eyes and legs on the scene. Michael Rooker also appears as the police captain, who has bungled earlier killings by the serial killer and is more interested in the press than in good police work. Ed O'Neill and Luis Guzman are support staff who aid Washington and run interference with Rooker. |

An Army sergeant (Samual Jackson) takes six of his special troops on a training mission into the rain-soaked Colombian jungles and only two come out alive. When the rescue mission arrives, they see one soldier (Brian Van Holt) killing another and carrying a wounded comrade (Giovanni Ribisi). As the interrogation begins, the soldier refuses to talk to anyone other than another Ranger. The investigating officer (Connie Nielsen) protests, but her commanding officer (Timothy Daly) nonetheless brings in a former Ranger and current DEA agent (John Travolta) to help. The agent is currently on suspension from DEA for allegedly accepting a bribe. From this point on, the plot continues to twist and turn and offers numerous surprises that keeps the story interesting. |
