The Empire is more than halfway through construction of a new Death Star - almost twice as big, but more than twice as powerful. When completed, it will spell certain doom for Luke Skywalker and the Rebels. Han Solo is a prisoner of crime lord Jabba the Hutt, and Princess Leia soon finds herself in the gangster's hands. Luke Skywalker, aided by C-3PO and R2-D2, makes his way into Jabba's palace, hoping to secure his friends' freedom. But the Hutt has no intention of doing so and tries to kill them all. After escaping from Jabba and the sands of Tatooine, they regroup with the Rebel fleet, which is massing for an attack against the new satellite battle station at Endor. Lando Calrissian is pressed into action to lead the Rebel fighter attack, while Han is put in charge of a group of soldiers to take out the shield generator protecting the Death Star. Luke, however, surrenders to Vader's soldiers on Endor, and is taken in front of Vader's boss - the Galactic Emperor - on the Death Star for final corruption to the Dark Side of the Force. The fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers ambushes the Rebels, cutting them off. Worse, the new Death Star begins turning its giant laser on the Rebel carriers. It appears that nothing will stop the Empire's triumph - unless things start to change quickly... |

When Castro opened the port at Mariel Harbor, thousands of Cubans fled to the United States. One is a young tough named Antonio (Tony) Montana, who, with his friend Manny Ray, starts in with Miami's cocaine trade. He survives attack by chainsaw after a deal goes bad, and several other attempts by other dealers to eliminate him. Eventually the grandiose Montana becomes head of a cocaine cartel. But his enemies start coming after him, and his paranoia threatens to drive Montana's empire into the ground... |

Nuclear war in the United States is portrayed in a realistic and believable manner. The story is told through the eyes of a woman who is struggling to take care of her family. The entire movie takes place in a small suburban town outside San Francisco. After the nuclear attack, contact with the outside world is pretty much cut off. |

Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd), a respectable, wealthy Philadelphia commodity broker, finds his life upended after his employers, Mortimer (Don Ameche) and Randolph Duke (Ralph Bellamy), make an unusual, one-dollar bet. Randolph believes that the company can be run by anyone, even a regular rascal. The Duke brothers find a perfect candidate for their cruel social experiment when they come across a street con named Billy Ray Valentine (Eddie Murphy). Billy unexpectedly finds himself placed in the lap of luxury and given a cushy job, while Lois is expelled from the company and stripped of his fashionable townhouse. But the eccentric brothers don't know that by switching the lifestyle of the criminal and the trusted employee they expose themselves to more risk than they have bargained for. |

Working-class hairdresser Susan White (Julie Walters) who calls herself Rita - that is her favourite writer's name - is intent on changing her life for the better. Depressed after his divorce and his failed attempt to become a poet, he seeks comfort in a bottle of whisky. Furthermore, Frank is bored with teaching students who are able to speak about literature only in clichés and platitudes. Rita's arrival breaks the monotony of his daily existence – she is literally a breath of fresh air for him. Excited by her impulsive approach to life and by Rita herself, Frank comes to realize that though Rita lacks education, she is more intelligent than anyone else at college. |

One night at the movies, Ponyboy and Johnny fall in love with Sherri "Cherry" Valance (Lane) and Marcia (Meyrink) once they get Dally Winston (Dillon), the toughest and meanest of the Greasers to stop attempting to "score" Cherry and Marcia. What Johnny and Ponyboy don't know is that Cherry and Marcia are girls for the snobbish, popular, and rich group, the Socs. Once Johnny kills Bob Sheldon (Garrett), the toughest and meanest member of the Socs, this begins as the Socs demand a rumble against the Greasers. |

When Agent 009 turns up dead at the British Embassy in Berlin holding a Russian Faberge egg, 007 is called in to investigate. He soon finds out that the egg is being sought by a collector named Kamal Khan (Jordan), who is in league with a psychopathic Soviet general, Orlov (Steven Berkhoff) who is hell-bent on Soviet domination despite reprimands from his superiors. Orlov's plan involves smuggling an atomic bomb into a U.S. Air Force Base in West Germany, in the hopes of crippling the country and leaving it an easy target for Soviet conquest. Bond's investigation of Khan leads him to India, where he meets a mysterious woman named 'Octopussy' who is connected to Khan. The bomb is smuggled aboard a circus train, and one of the men helping Kamal & Orlov is the man responsible for killing 009! Bond must race against time to stop the bomb from exploding & killing thousands, then running down Kamal Khan before he escapes! |

After destroying a case involving a crime lord, Harry Callahan is sent down to San Paulo to investigate the killing of a man found dead in a car. Jennifer (the killer of the man in the car) is murdering all the rapists who brutally raped both her and her sister 10 years ago, and she has returned to San Paulo to exact her revenge. Harry becomes inadvertently involved in Jennifer's own troubles during his investigations, all the while not suspecting she is the killer. |

Arnie learns that Christine has a thing for him and devotes his time to restoring her to Mint Condition. But overtime, Arnie begins to change and becomes disconnected with reality and his friends. Arnie's girlfriend Leigh and best friend Dennis find out that Christine's previous owner cared about nothing else when he bought her and find out that Arnie is becoming just like him. The only way they can bring Arnie back to reality is to destroy Christine, But Arnie and Christine are ready to destroy them first and any one else who gets in their way. |

In this superb, action-packed movie retired Marine Colonel Jason Rhodes (Gene Hackman) believes that his son Frank (Todd Allen), listed as missing in action during the Vietnam War, is still alive and held in prison camp in Laos. He brings together Frank's five fellow soldiers, Wilkes (Fred Ward), "Blaster" (Reb Brown), "Sailor" (Randall "Tex" Cobb), Charts (Tim Thomerson) and Johnson (Harold Sylvester), and convinces them to embark on a dangerous trip to the Laotian jungles to find his son. Young guy Kevin Scott (Patrick Swayze), whose father has been languishing in captivity for years, also decides to accompany the rescue group. |

Blue Thunder is a specially modified helicopter. It is for police work, but is armed and designed to counter street insurgencies. It's makers want to show what it will do, but have to train a Los Angeles Police pilot Frank Murphy, to fly and use it in order to allow it to operate in the city. Murphy and the project pilot have differences going back to Vietnam. The conflict between them continues to heat up as Murphy begins to suspect that Blue Thunder is more than has been disclosed. |

The once-beautiful planet Krull falls a victim to the all-powerful, formidable monster, The Beast (voiced by Trevor Martin), and his vile cohorts, the Slayers. Prince Colwyn (Ken Marshall), the son of King Turlord (Tony Church), and Princess Lyssa (Lysette Anthony), the daughter of King Eirig (Bernard Archard), make up their mind to marry and thus unite their rival kingdoms into a cohesive whole against the villainous invaders. But during the wedding ceremony, the Beast and his army of darkness attack the palace, kidnap the gorgeous princess and hide her in the Black Fortress. Both kings and their numerous armies are murdered and the castle lies devastated. Big Enos and Little Enos have opened a seafood restaurant and want to promote it in their usual fashion. The Bandit is unavailable this time, though, so they enlist Buford. "Trigger" is brought out of mothballs, a large fish is strapped to the roof of the car, and the new Bandit is on his way on another wild cross-country run. But where there is the Bandit, there is Sheriff Buford T. Justice. |
