U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard is accompanying a planeload of convicts from Chicago to New York. The plane crashes spectacularly, and Mark Sheridan escapes. But when Diplomatic Security Agent John Royce is assigned to help Gerard recapture Sheridan, it becomes clear that Sheridan is more than just another murderer.
Herrington High, Ohio, a small-town highschool. All of a sudden, the teachers start changing attitude. When Casey and Delilah have to hide in a closet in the teacher's lounge, they witness the strangulation of Nurse Harper by two of them. Shocked, they manage to flee. Only moments later, the nurse seems to be very alive, but also somehow changed, like all the teachers and most of the students. Only Casey, Delilah and four others seem to be suspicious. Proof of an alien infection is finally brought by the chemistry teacher, who also points out a way to kill the infected humans. The plan now is to get the queen, before the aliens can spread out over the whole country.
After the abduction by the US military of an Islamic religious leader, New York City becomes the target of escalating terrorist attacks. Anthony Hubbard, the head of the FBI's Counter-Intelligence Task Force in New York, teams up with CIA operative Elise Kraft to hunt down the terrorist cells responsible for the attacks. In an attempt to resurrect the slapstick comedy of Laurel and Hardy or The Marx Brothers, Stanley Tucci and Oliver Platt team-up as two out-of-work actors who accidentally stowaway on a ship to hide from a drunken, belligerent lead actor who has sworn to kill them for belittling his talents. Of course, the lead actor end up on the ship as well. Also, a madman (Tony Shalhoub) plots the destruction of the ship and Steve Buscemi is a depressed, suicidal lounge singer named Happy Frank.

This young lady is the fiancé of soldier Raoul, the son of Athos. Without further ado, the king has Raoul recruited and sent to war, so that he himself can take care of her. Soon Raoul dies in combat and the king has him out of the way. But Athos, Aramis and Porthos think of a plan to take revenge on the king. Aramis points out that there is a man in an iron mask in a very secure prison, and that this man's existance can solve all present problems. So they free the king's hidden twin brother, and tell him who he is, as he of course feels free of guilt and has no idea whatsoever why he was imprisoned for 6 years with this mask forged around his head. The plan now is to replace the evil king with his brother at a masquerade party held soon. Only D'Artagnan still is guarding the king and so he has to turn against his old friends...
A gigantic asteroid is on a direct collision course with Earth. There is little time left before the fatal crash. Only a miracle can save life on Earth. In order to make a miracle, NASA Administrator Dan Truman (Billy Bob Thornton) sends the world's foremost deep core driller, Harry S. Stamper (Bruce Willis), and his courageous crew to land on the asteroid, drill into its center and drop a nuclear explosive device. The detonation of the bomb will crack the asteroid into two halves which will pass Earth on both sides. The drilling team must complete their highly important mission before the deadline; otherwise the halves will not fly by but slam into the planet.
Two master thieves go at odds with one another as one sets the other up for a crime. What would you do if you knew that a gigantic comet was about to slam into the earth and wipe out all life? President of the United States, Tom Beck (Morgan Freeman), announces to the world that there is only one year left before the fatal collision. He gives an order to a team of astronauts to travel to the comet and use nuclear bombs to blow it to bits. Unfortunately, the explosion only splits the comet into two halves. In an ironic twist of fate, Jiro Nishi (Sab Shimono), whose business has recently gone burst, can’t pay a ransom of $1,000,000 for the release of his teenage daughter. Furthermore, Keiko proves to be the godkid of their powerful boss Paris, who orders his huge cohort to discover and send the captors to kingdom come. On top of it all, Mel falls for his kidnaping victim.
Eddie (Sean Penn) and Mickey (Kevin Spacey) are dandied middle-aged casting agents who share a house in the Hollywood Hills where their two buddies, sarcastic, sycophantic producer and writer Artie (Gary Shandling) and paranoiac, out-of-work actor Phil (Chazz Palminteri), are frequent visitors. The guys sometimes try to appear as virtuous, honorable gentlemen, though they are actually degenerate men who see women as nothing more than sexual objects and enjoy pontificating about the meaning of life over a bottle of wine, smoking and sniffing coke every minute.
Heavy Rainfall causes a Indiana river to swell and flood the town. All inhabitants are forced by public services to leave instantly. Tom and his uncle Charlie work for a money transport firm and their assignment is to evacuate all cash from the banks along the flooding river. So, their truck is loaded with about three million Dollars. Hank tries to prevent further flooding, as he's the guy responsible for the dam up the river, but he has to open one gate in order to save the old dam from breaking. Only the police under the Sheriff's leadership stay in town to prevent looting. As the water level rises, Tom and Charlie's Truck gets stuck in the flooded road. This is the moment, Jim, an elderly thief, and his gang have been waiting for. In an attempt to get the money from the truck, Charlie gets shot and Tom swims off to save the cash bags. While trying to hide, he meets Karen, who resisted to leave the old church she has been restoring for eight months. She thinks he is a looter, and calls the cops to bring him in. But as the Sheriff finds out about that much cash in a situation like this, he radios his old pal Hank, up at the dam...
