A sumptuous mansion in a beautiful place seems to be a Garden of Eden. Dr. and Mrs. Mandrakis (Derek de Lint and Kate Jennings Grant) go away, leaving their two young kids in care of a babysitter, young high school student Jill Johnson (Camilla Belle). She whiles away the hours snooping around the house and trying on jewelry. What seems like an uneventful evening unexpectedly becomes her worst nightmare. At first, Jill gets a phone call from a menacing stranger (Tommy Flanagan) who asks if everything is okay. She goes upstairs to check the kids and finds them safe and asleep in bed. But the stranger keeps on calling and spooking the teenage girl. Her fear eventually escalates into panic attack.
