Carter Page III (Woody Harrelson) works as a high-priced escort to high society ladies. But the course of his life is changed when Lynn (Kristin Scott Thomas), the senator's wife, discovers the brutal murder of her lover, a lobbyist. Willing to cover for his dearest friend, Carter goes to the scene of the crime to get rid of incriminating evidence.
