CoPlace Logan will activate communities with distributed infrastructure and financial resources. Its aim is to create a sustainable impact at the micro-local level. We will give its community a space that can adapt to their needs, and equip them with the tools necessary to thrive. By moving faster than local governments, we will provide a system that drives change in months rather than years.

CoPlace Logan

Quartyard was an experiment focused on empowering a community to focus on its greater good. If we had focused on just what a spreadsheet told us, it would have never happened. By looking outward, we pioneered a new model for community activation.

Communities are geographic and have different needs. Living in Palm Springs is different than Siberia. When planning critical infrastructure and plotting growth, you need a way to invest in assets that can be utilized over long periods of time and continue to provide value to your community.

What is a city like that is built from scratch and can reconfigure itself in mere days using real-time data? With the IoT infrastructure plan of CoPlace we intend to answer that question, and then share what we learn freely with the public.

Shared Kitchens

Mega CoPlace will have a shared kitchen, the “CoPlace Commissary,” which will expose area residents to great food while giving local food entrepreneurs a chance to shine. The community-driven nature of the Commissary will make this access to new, local culinary concepts possible.

Mega CoPlace will have a unique structure that will allow local restaurants and bars to flourish. Our intention is to make it easy for make these businesses to grow by leveraging traffic through the destination.
